Room is not big, AC is not working well, linen is not very clean, driving through the carpark entrance need to be very careful because very narrow. But the lobby decoration is good and reasonably priced.View management response »

"Good hotel, terrible beds"

We liked the hotel and the friendliness of the staff, good breakfast and perfect location to explore Prague. However, the beds were very bad with big dents in the middle. The staff showed us another room with the exact same problem. Eventually, the problem was solved by adding an extra mattress. While the hotel staff and -manager did their best to solve this problem - compliments to them for that - I do feel that they are let down by the Novotel group who is apparently not willing or able to invest in the comfort of their guest in the same way some of their competitors are doing.View management response »

I stayed at Novotel because of the congress and the location was excellent for this purpose. However, I'd like to compliment both the personell and the management of this hotel for their fantastic hospitality, friendliness and diligence. Especially Petra at the reception, who helped me a lot with all my requests and who speaks flawless English. I didn't have enough time during this visit, but I'll definitely do this next time 'cause Prague is one of my favorite cities and Novtel Praha Venceslas Square is now among my favorite hotels there. Absolutely recommended! People in Prague are genuinely friendly and there're a lot of smiles & beer here, there's also an ancient history and lively cultural atmosphere. Some tips: a night shop at the corner, selling quite a wide selection of beers and snacks, plus Vltava cruise with dinner could enrich your Prague experiences.View management response »
