"Can't fault the price!"

Etap might not be quite up to Premier Inn's standards, but at less than half the price you can't really fault it. Car park seemed big enough for everyone to get in, relatively quiet and next door to Tesco's.

When we arrived there was ongoing work in the hotel which we were not aware of and the room smelled heavily of paint. There was no carpet in the corridor, this was later layed and then the smell of solvent was prominent. The cleaners gathered every morning at the end of the corridor and seemed oblivious their loud discussions and subsequent movements could be heard through the paper thin walls. Whilst we were lucky to be down a small corridor and at the far end we still heard everyones movements and arrivals/departures to and from their rooms. At least the rooms were clean although only one electrical socket in the entire room. The car park is not secure as we were told the gate has been broken some time, which was one reason we booked this hotel. Would only recommend if location to tube was your main interest as its only a 10 min walk away. Not value for money as we have stayed in hotels much better for the same price. The ibis just down the road is one.

A clean and comfortable hotel, although the facilities are basic. I found the member of staff at reception very helpful on arrival. he was efficient and frendly and even offered to call us a taxi to take us to Barking Station. It would be nice if there were some rooms with twin beds, rather than doubles or a double and bunk. That is my only criticism. Also, with all the hotels being so close, the Ibis, the Formula 1 and the Etap, it would be nice if they could arrange a mini bus service to and from the tube station in Barking, even if it were subject to a charge.

simple basic room just what we wanted for a one night stay the price was very realistic could not fault the reception and was nice to see same person in the morning very helpfull will de fuse them again

E-Tap Hotel Barking London , the room facilities one person staying ok, but for double this room space not enough , just only sleep this rooms good , but some business trip and have any meeting with some one i am not recommend this hotel.
