"Good stopover"
23rd March 2012, Eastleigh, United Kingdom
Large pleasant room and a good breakfast. Helpful reception staff.Good selection of places to eat in the locality.
"Good hotel"
8th March 2012, Marseille, France
The hotel is nice, located just outside the old city.A choice of non affiliated restaurants all around is a good choice to have. Only negative is the breakfast buffet which is pretty poor for this class of hotel and the baguettes were probably left overs from the previous day.
"stopover at Troyes Mercure"
28th February 2012, Brussels, Belgium
We regularly stop here on our way from Ste Maxime to Brussels. Staff always friendly, accommodation great with big rooms, high ceilings and quiet. Restaurants just around the corner...just what travellers need !
"Troyes, lovely city, good hotel"
13th September 2011, High Wycombe, United Kingdom
We have stayed here several times on overnight stops as we head north (home) or south (holiday) and we have always had a delightful experience. Nice rooms and a comfortable bed, in a good location for many facilities (a variety of restaurants and a cinema), or easy access to the town centre on foot (10 mins). As we are always en-route for somewhere else, a good night's sleep is key for us and this hotel has never let us down.
"Good place to stay"
3rd September 2011, Genova
Very nice hotel, but at least 20 minutes from motorway.Good sized room, but had to decide whether to plug in desk lamp, kettle or my computer!Friendly and helpful staff.Safe underground carpark (9 euro).
"Enjoyable stay"

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel, it is clean, presentable with comfortable rooms including the bed. We were greated nicely at reception. Enjoyed breakfast, good selection. Good location.
"Good to be back"
25th July 2011, GENEVA
We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and always find it to be an ideal stopping point en route to/from UK. Rooms are large and comfortable, staff speak good English and the breakfast is worth a diversion on its own. Only difficult point this time around was finding a car parking space. We got to Troyes after 10 and just managed to squeeze into the last parking space - not what you want at the end of a six hour drive. So either the rates must be increased to discourage usage - EUR 9/night seems on the cheap side nowadays - or those booking in advance as we did, should be able to reserve a parking space as well.
"Very good hotel"
26th May 2011, Barnsley, United Kingdom
The car park was a tad difficult to find. We checked in early very afternoon, with no problem at all. the guy on Reception was very helpful explaining how the hotel worked. The room and bathroom were very large and comfortable, the air-conditioning operating very well. The hotel is sited very near the town and we were provided with a map and spend three hours wandering around. There is no hotel restaurant but there a number within 100 metres we chose one and had an excellent meal that evening. Breakfast in the morning was good assisted by very helpful staff members. In all very comfortable night, one we would have no problem repeating if we go along that route again.
"Beds"
6th May 2011
We were given 2 single bed only suitable for a small child. I am 5ft tall and weigh 110lbs so not a large adult. The bed was something you would not use as a spare bed,Therefore we could not sleep. The breakfast was to be served at 6.30am. We arrived at 6.35am and the staff were just coming in. We were charged more for the breakfast than we had agreed on our internet booking. We did tell reception who were very nice and polite but not help.
"Great for overnight stop"
11th March 2011, GLT14, London
Stayed en route for the Alps- secure parking, spacious room with very good bed and very quiet. large bathroom. staff really nice, both on reception and at breakfast, which is excellent. they don't have a restaurant but near to centre of town (which is very interesting) and plenty of places to eat. would certainly stay again
"Stay in Troyes"
7th February 2011, Porthcawl
Very enjoyable stay. Rooms were very good. Within easy walking distance of town. The only thing I objected to was being called early in the morning to confirm my stay. I had a non-refundable price so there was no need to incurr me with mobile phone charges as I had already paid.

We stay at the Mercure Troyes regularly. The staff are polite, friendly and very welcoming. There are plenty of local amenities. Troyes is a beautiful town and we enjoy staying there.
