"5 star overnight stay."

I had 1 overnight stay at the hotel with breakfast. The staff were polite and the service very good. My double room was warm clean and comfortable with excellent shower facilities. My buffet style continental breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of fruit, cereals, yogurt, pastries etc. At £42 total it was excellent value and I will stay again.

"Comfortable but basic"

The hotel is very conveniently situated just off the M6/M55 junction. But it is very much a "travelling Saleseman" type hotel - devoid of character and rather annonymous. The room was faily clean but there were some hairs on surfaces and the shower grout could do with a good scrub.It would have been helpful if there was a power socket close to the bed and milk was not always provided in the rooms - I had to ask for it at reception.The food is bland and not particularly good.All that said, it is good value, there is ample parking and it was very conveniently situated close to the motorway.

The hotel is what it is a good budget hotel offering great value for money, allows dogs which was my main reason for staying apart from the ideal location from the motorway, staff offer an efficient service. Hotel is also positioned next door to a pub serving a variety of meals. Good for families. My only critiscm would be the extremely hard pillows, but I suppose for the money I paid you can't have everything. Would stay again..

"Wont be staying there again."

Ok, arrived at the hotel all went well booking in staff friendly and polite.issues at the hotel where:1. Shower trickled and not very powerful.2. No shower gel in shower gel holder, not filled up.3. Breakfast, which is expensive, was not very hot, bacon fatty, sausage was the cheap ones and tasted awful.4. Room was clean however the mattress topper was covered in human hair and dirt fluff etc, and this was only noticed on leaving after the second day in it. We complained to reception and showed them photo's of the topper, was given e mail of manager and told to send them in via mail. I was unable to send pictures as mail address was unknown and mail returned to me. Did the same again via website contact e mail but again mail returned for unknown reason.We come to Preston frequently and stay at the Ibis as its near to motorway and pub but we wont be staying there again and go back to staying at the Premier Inn.

"Comfortable reasonably price hotel"

Very comfortable stay. Just of motorway and easy to get to. Breakfast is well worth the cost and everything was fresh. Meals are available but we didnt use this facility as there is also a reasonable good eatery next door. But may try hotel next time. Have stayed here before and will again. Staff are young but helpful.And most important to me Dog Friendly.

Met by two friendly receptionists, checked in swiftly and then to a nice clean (but a bit chilly) room. Comfy beds and very clean bathroom. Lovely breakfast, filled swiftly when empty. All in all a great hotel.

"Good Value"

I only stayed here for one night but the location was ideal and the room was spacious and clean. Very good value for money.The only thing I would say is to read directions before you go as it is difficult to find and my sat nav didn't locate it.

"cold room, security concerns"

1. Room very cold- heater in room not on when I arrived. Staff turned it on but room cold all night (slept with towel under duvet)2. on giving room key reception staff said room no out loud in front of male guests (female lone traveller). Also repeated this when I went down about heater and when I went down to tell them they had disabled my room key when they fixed my heater (which they then undisabled)
