I’ve always generally found my stays here good, did want a ground floor room as my mother has some mobility issues but the room was fine. Staff always nice when I’ve stayed. Generally good value for money!

The hotel is very conveniently located on the outskirts of Lincoln, if your aim is to explore the surroundings rather than spend time in the centre of the City. There is good parking and the hotel is basic but clean and adequate. Room refurbishment is overdue, however. In our room water from the shower was clearly starting to rot the bottom of the doorframe, for example. Arriving later in the day, the reception area was ill lit and gloomy. The breakfast offering was not kept replenished, the bread and pastries lacked crispness, and the cooked food generally lacked flavour. As a one-time enthusiast for the brand, this will make me think and research more before booking at an Ibis again.
