"Ibis Chesterfield North"

Very conveniently located just off the M1. Also perfect for visiting a number of National Trust and English Heritage sites nearby. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and clean with plenty of hot water. We did worry when we found the hotel next to a pub but we didn't hear a sound and slept very well. We would use this hotel again.

"Always a comfortable stay"

We have stayed at this Ibis several times as we have family living in the area. Recently Ibis have replaced all the beds and they are very, very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently situated a few minutes from the M1 with a restaurant adjacent. The hotel itself has a bar and a food menu and does 24 hour room service. There is also a bar with a large TV and comfortable seating. A MacDonalds and a Kentucky are over the road. A Dobbies garden centre is also in the vicinity. There is also an NHS elective surgery hospital nearby and the hotel is ideal for family visiting patients who wish to stay in the area.Breakfast is extra at £7.95 and served from 4am to 12 noon. The cooked element is sausages, scrambled egg and beans plus a selection of continental breakfast items.Checkout is late at 12 noon so need to rush in the morning.The only negative comment I have is that the housekeeping staff need to make sure that everything that should be in the room is actually there. We had no TV remote or kettle and although Reception were quick to remedy the situation it should not have happened. It is not the first time. At our last stay it was the tv remote, kettle, soap and and waste bin. The hotel is close to lots of places of interest and despite the above negative comment we will continue to be happy to stay there.

"Another good budget stay to visit family relations"

Excellent efficient service from the staff. The room was comfortable and met our requirements fully. The new beds were a good improvement and worth the investment made by the Company. The discounted pricing through the website was great and enabled us to have a two night/2 room stay for our family to visit relations at this expensive time of year without breaking the bank

"great hotel and lovely rooms"

this hotel was nice clean and spacious i had a problem with the lift i did report it as i was stuck in it and lifts doors couldnt open i reported it to a member of staff but nothing was done when i spoke to another person outside they said they got stuck in it the day before and had reported it so staff dont seem so good and they make a hotel comfterble

"A Winters Tale at the Ibis"

I have stayed at this hotel many times and on arrival am greeted like an old friend. I like the location as it is central for my needs on each visit. During this visit the Hotel, and indeed the whole area, suffered a power cut at aprox 18-15hrs. As a concequence of this event and the time of year it became cold very quickly and we vacated the Hotel in search of a warmer environment and dinner. The staff during this event performed in their usual excelet manner providing what information they had and assisting guests as required. My overall experience at the Ibis was, as usual, good and I would recomend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Mordern hotel in a good location"

Very close to the motorway but with no traffic noises to worry about. Rooms are clean and have a modern touch to it. Staffs are very friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Definitely worth the money

"Convenient value for money"

A clean and comfortable hotel conveniently situated just off the M1. Our double room was spacious with a large bed although the duvet provided was perhaps too thick for our needs .The staff were both courteous and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a quality budget hotel - all in all good value for money
