"Great Value"

Stayed on business with colleaues. Reception area clean and modern with a limited bar. Rooms clean and compact with pod bathroom. The shower was very good and surprisingly roomy. NCP carpark very close (30meters). Only down side on service was, on ordering DJ and coke the draught coke was flat and then had to pay again for the bottle of coke. Overall exeptional value for location(£48.00 per room).

"Ok but facilities failed and noisy"

For me, the internet was amazingly slow and kept cutting out every 20 seconds, meaning I could get no work done. The TV kept freezing, so the movies I paid for I couldn't watch. And the hotel is situated next to night clubs, and the double glazing does nothing to drown the noise out. Otherwise all fine

"Comfort despite a railway viaduct opposite"

Production of my A Club card produced instant recognition and an accurate description of what I had book and paid for. My first room had an extra bed, which took up the desk space; I was immediately given another,appropriate room. This room was reasonably large and quiet, with an adequate bathroom and a TV which was easy to use.The one frustration was being obliged to get online by paying Orange, problems with the password, which did not distinguish easily O and 0, wasted a lot of time. The reception staff were patient and helpful. Once again, I fail to see why there should be a charge at all: the hotel Internet is already paid anyway, and at other Ibis hotels Internet access has been free.For the three nights I was there, the breakfast buffet was more than adequate; possibly not if the stay had been longer. The location was close to the venue of the conference I was attending and Manchester Piccadilly station. .

The hotel is comfortable without frills. A basic standard with all amenities necessary. The bar was serviced by reception which meant service was slow.

"Excellent budget hotel"

No complaints about the Ibis, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and was charged at only a fiver if you bought it in advance. The beds have memory foam mattresses and I got a great night's sleep. Only one small complaint, all the coffee in the room was decaf!

Pre-exam accommodation. Room clean. Breakfast a bit pricey but recommend hotel if you're doing any business near the university. Parking is nearby £10 for 24hrs. Routine IBIS hotel and standard. Recommended for value.

"Good but something less"

Relatively good serviced Hotel with good location and delicious breakfast. But heating system was very bad. It was too cold during the sleeping and cannot be controllable. Internet connection also optionlal with payment and cable connection was not working.

"The worst hotel I ever stayed in.."

This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in, the location is bad, the rooms are not Ibis normal quality and the rooom heating didnt work.The staff were friends and tried to help by giving extr beding on some of the coldest nights of the year :-(

"Appalling service"

Stayed Monday night - Thursday morning. Left each morning at 6.30, returning around 20.00. Returned on Tuesday - room hadn't been made up. Reported it and was assured by reception that this wouldn't happen again. Returned on Wednesday - room hadn't been made up again. Loose electrical fitting in the shower/toilet cubicle. Television seemed unable to get a signal on ITV. Despite being an ACCOR Card Holder the receptionist failed to give me my complimentary drink voucher. Also despite this being my 4th week in a row at this hotel the receptionist made me fill in a whole new guest form. This stay has ruined my view of what had previously been an okay hotel.

"Not sure what is going on but standards at this hotel is dropping."

I've stayed at this Ibis a couple of times before, as well as many other Ibis hotels over the world. However, on my most recent stay here, I had to change rooms twice due to certain faults. In my first room, the television did not work despite many attempts by the staff to get it working. I was moved to another room. Fortunately, I had not unpacked. In the second room, I unpacked, had dinner, and wanted to take a shower before I slept, and I found out that the door for the toilet was coming off it's hinges. I can't close the door and therefore can't take a shower. I was moved again, but this time I had to pack up my stuff which was quite a bit of a hassle. My final room was better, but there were weird noises coming out from the air-conditioning unit. I sincerely hope that the Ibis management do something to maintain the quality that is expected of it and not let us customers down by having rooms that have faults. Thanks.
"noisy neighbours but great location"

When we stayed the hotel looked to be having some refurbishment there was bare plaster on some of the walls and quite a bit of dust to one side of the reception area however the bit that was done looked modern and clean The rooms were quite dated with what looks to be caravan type seating however the bed was warm and comfortable. There was a considerable amount of noice in the form of shouting in the early hours of the morning both outside and inside the hotel. The breakfast area was very uninviting with what appeared to be a large amount of guests squeezed into a small place (we opted to eat out).For a city centre location though we found it to be great value for money for its proximity to nightlife and shopping.
