"Man Sun Flies By"

Location is good for the City Centre and major transport networks. Although the area surrounding it looks a bit neglected the hotel is clean, comfortable and has a better price quality than others nearby.Staying for only one night whilst in transit to the airport didn't give much opportunity to enjoy the City as a break, but sleep quality can be assured. The food wasn't sampled so i am unable to comment on this.The only complaint was getting a taxi from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station i gave the driver the address as Princess Street, but he chose to know it as Charles Street - the hotel is situated on the corner of both these roads. Apart from that the stay was pleasing although brief.

"Couples without children."

Me and my boyfriend stopped here on Jan 19th with friends who are also couples. We found the hotel and rooms were very clean. When we had got into the room the man off reception rang the room to check everything was okay which I thought was very good. The only bad thing I would say is that in the morning when we were waiting to check out there was no one on reception and we had to wait for someone to eventually come. All in all though it is a very good hotel and I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

"value for money city centre hotel"

A good hotel for the price. 5-10 mins from station, clean and decent sized room. Shower also spacious and powerful. Would recommend as a cheap, city centre hotel which ticks most boxes, compared to others in the centre.Sal & Kaz

"Good stay & great value"

The staff at reception and at breakfast were great and so helpful. A great base for an overnight stay or a base for a longer stay. Just three minutes from Oxford Raod station so very convenient if you are arriving by train or visiting the theatre.

Ibis service is excellent, you are really made to feel welcome. A modestly appointed hotel serves up a great breakfast and has an excellent 24/7 snack menu, although be quick, as they can sell out of the great stuff fast.

"A pleasant trip"

Our stay at the Ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street Hotel was got at less than the standard rate and was superb value at such a central location. The hotel is clean friendly and functional only a short distance from Oxford Road Station and a short walk into the Centre, ideally suited for access to the Manchester Met Uni or visits to the theatre.The staff and very helpful and friendly and have a secure area for holding your bags upon checkout. They have an all you can eat buffet breakfast and 24/7 menu, neither of which were tried, but the 24/7 menu appeared reasonable in price.Would definitely stay again, especially at the same price

"A pleasant stay"

Generally, the hotel was good, but the single beds could have done with being wider - I nearly fell out of bed on one occasion! The fan heating stirred up the dust and made me cough - suggest fans need cleaning out. However, I would stay there again but might ask for a 5 foot double bed on the next occasion.

new swish reception a very nice surprise,new beds are really comfy.so handy for the city centre shopping, clubbing,eating out.great safe location for canal street great value also.indian restaurant on ground floor always great.staff always helpful and polite.stayed her about 5 times in five years never disappointed.
