ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good Stay"

16th September 2013, loobyloo79, Falmouth, Cornwall, UK

There was a nice welcome, which was polite, fast and efficient. I was on floor 7, in a clean, tidy room which was on the top floor of the hotel. There was some slight noise externally at night but this was expected as it is a city centre. An easy walk to the centre and shopping areas and close to public transport. The free broadband was a welcome extra.

ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Just what was needed"

12th September 2013, Chris H, Manchester, United Kingdom

As ever staff at Ibis hotel were friendly but efficient. No frills but exactly as required. This hotel is well situated for the city centre and transport. We spent less than 12 hours here but it was a welcome place to sleep at the end of our journey and convenient for the next day.

ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "great value"

15th August 2013

Paid a very low price so wasn't expecting much. However, we were pleasantly surprised! Helpful staff. Nice, fairly small clean room with everything you need. Good location, short walk to train/bus stations and a very comfy bed! Didn't buy breakfast as was quite expensive, but there are tea and coffee facilities in the room to wake you up in the morning!

ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Nice Hotel"

23rd July 2013, NicoLe107, Penang Island, Malaysia

is really clean and space is enough!the bed is really comfortable =) The location is just near to china town! if allowed to add extra bed to stay for 3 then is the best, or have single room. we had 5 peoples, but due to only allowed 2 in a room, so we force to rent for 3 rooms(for 6 peoples) , what a waste! since we not really need so much! the room can fixed for 3 actually!

ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street: 3.0 out of 5 stars "It's okay"

18th July 2013, Helenmc78, Leicester, United Kingdom

I rang the hotel to put our 3 hotel rooms together on the same floor and i was told that this was fine and we were all on the 5th floor, when we got there one couple was on the 4th one on the 2nd and the other on the 7th, eventually after a lot of complaining we eventually got onto the same floor. Our room had a broken bathroom door and a dodgy plug that wasn't very safe and there was only set up for single occupancy so had to request further towels etc. The other rooms seemed okay though. I would use the hotel again as it is very convenient for where we go but does need a bit of maintenance on some of the rooms.

ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ok but not more"

28th June 2013, Peter B

Location is a little bit off (but close to Picadilly station) and the rate was quite high for beeing in middle of week. Ibis hotel at Portland road is far better located, and above all has much nicer beds. Restaurant is deserted at night, but indian restaurant around the corner was very good. My main complaint is room rate in relation to what you get. Otherwise everything was ok (a clear pass anyway).
