4th May 2012, TigerKit, Belfast, United Kingdom

Great location, excellent staff and service and very clean. only weakness was that some of the plug sockets in the room were a bit loose and needed some maintanence, other wise couldn't fault it. breakfst also excellent.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Manchester"

4th May 2012, victim0fcircumstance, Manchester

The carpet in the room were extremely dirty. The toilet floor was sticky. Not a comfortable experience. The hotel manager said that I was unlucky as the room was about to be refurbished.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Manchester City Centre"

25th April 2012, HobbsKeith6462, Solihull, United Kingdom

This city centre hotel is very convenientky located and is about 10 minutes walk from the station and the main shopping area. It is also centrally situated for the various nightlife areas of Manchester. Our room was on the first floor but at the rear of the hotel so there was no noise from traffic. Bedrooms were basic which you would expect of an Ibis but were very clean but the beds were abit hard plus the shower head in our bathroom had broken from its fittting. Good buffet breakfast is served in the open plan ground floor area which also doubles up as a bar plus reception.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Average hotel"

16th April 2012

I stayed in the Ibis because of it's location and price. The hotel is very mediocre. The room size is adequate, and the bathroom is functional. The bed was hard and fairly unforgiving, and the little sleep I got was marred by "revellers" (!) returning at 4am and road noise from 6am. Having said all that, the staff were helpful, very friendly and as accommodating as they could be.I had to return to Manchester the following week, but changed to a serviced apartment (Bridge Street Atrium), which was great.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great place to stay for central manchester"

12th April 2012, Southport, United Kingdom

Staff were very kind and helpful. Beds were a little basic but bathroom was exceptional bit noisy at night outside so had to keep window closed overnight.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "4 nights in manchester"

reception is 24h. location is very central. room was very clean. did not spend additional money on internet access and also did not have breakfast. based on my experience i'd recommend a stay, if short term.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good budget hotel"

30th March 2012, Exeter, United Kingdom

Clean, well appointed room with no wateful knick knacks such as large towels, shampoo, hot chocolate etc. which must just cost money. So all the basics were there. The only downside was that I found the mattress and pillow sightly unyielding and the room a bit unnecessarily warm.

Great location great friendly staff just let down by two things - a snoring customer who kept me awake - need thicker walls and an awful breakfast eggs like rubber However that aside it did what it says on the box clean tidy and friendly staff

ibis Manchester City Centre: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good value, good location"

5th March 2012, Tiptoptraveller, Sheffield

I stayed here for one night and had a comfortable night's sleep. Only slight downside is the noisy air conditioning outside in the courtyard but this was not a problem in the winter. Very central location, especially for nightlife and only 10 minutes walk from thev station.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent Location, Good value for money"

5th March 2012, Udaipur, India

Excellent Location: just few minutes walk from the centre of Manchester, Piccadilly circus and Piccadilly station is very very close. The tourist information centre is 3 min by walk and the famous shopping street and the biggest mall Arndale is 7 min by walk. Many restaurant and pubs near the hotel. Overall an excellent value for money with ultimate location!

ibis Manchester City Centre: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis manchester portland street"

27th February 2012, Birmingham, United Kingdom

I stayed at this location as I was travelling to the NBS on Plymouth Grove and previous colleagues had stayed here due to being near to lots of restaurants and amenities. Over all the stay was fine, but I thought that the wireless internet charge was outrageous! £9.99 per night is extraordinary compared to hotels I have stayed at in London which is free. Also, I personally found the bed uncomfortable plus rowdy guests kept me awake until past 2am and the hotel didn't manage to curb their noise levels at all. However, the service was friendly, breakfast well laid out and in an ideal location. I would stay here again if I had business in manchester.

26th February 2012, Penmaenmawr, United Kingdom

Excellent value for money in a recently refurbished establishment with easy transport links all within walking distance.Did not try the fairly basic eating and drinking facilities that were on offer since the city has these in abundance on the very doorstep.Well situated for overnight shopping/and or theatre experiences.Ticked every box as far as I was concerned.

ibis Manchester City Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Convenient, Clean and Comfortable"

30th January 2012, John and Tony, Derbyshire, England

We stayed overnight after seeing "Oliver - the Musical" at the Palace Theatre, having travelled by train to Oxford Road station. All very convenient. The hotel looked new and the room was just like all the other Ibis rooms! i.e. Functional but fine. Would certainly stay again.

Just what we have come to expect from IBIS and Accor. Clean, well-designed room, good service. Cannot comment on the breakfast. Good central location. China town next block. Easy access by free Metro shuttle bus 3 to Picc station. Handy for City Art gallery, Convention Centre (GMex)

ibis Manchester City Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great location, but be prepared for tiny rooms"

12th January 2012, Perth, Australia

This hotel was in a fantastic location, close to so many great restaurants and the city centre. The only downfall was that the room was so small, but with the fantastic deal I got with the room price, I really can't complain. There is also free internet downstairs which was really handy. I would recommend this place if you aren't too fussed about the room.
