Basic no Guinness at the bar my favourite drink car parking on top of the booking price.

Well located but smelly room

Great location, right next to Albert Dock but the room we stayed in smelled like someone had been frying chips in there. I'm guessing our room was above the kitchen extractor fan or something. Room was clean and bed was very comfy but the greasy smell got into everything and came back home with us!

I suppose you get what you pay for. Rooms like ships cabins with ensuite. Hotel does not accept cash no matter what price the item so overseas or non UK cards may involve extra transaction costs. B/fasts are something you may take once but go out if you want better quality.

Had a 2 day stay with the family, 3rd time staying here as the location is very good, right by the dock and near town and all the attractions, the car park is a definite bonus. The room was clean and the bed comfortable , one of the smallest rooms I’ve been in , and paid the same for this room as my parents did for theirs and it was much more spacious. Only had a few interactions with the staff downstairs and unfortunately they were not the best, I asked a question about the menu one afternoon and was greeted by 2 staff “scoffing “ and then laughing … which is always lovely ! It was the same staff member who the day before was very abrupt to us .. not had this attitude in any pub or restaurant during the stay in the city. Not the best first impression of the hotel.
