"A good nights sleep and an excellent breakfast."
4th February 2013, Clive321, Oban, United Kingdom
Ibis Glasgow offers an excellent venue for a good nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. It is ideal for the busy traveller, and short city break, in my opinion, and I am widely travelled, throughout Europe and the states, and can say with confidence that Ibis Hotels offer great value for money, together with a clean and efficient service.

"Service second to none"
19th January 2013, Chrissy1706, Leicester, United Kingdom
Upon arrival at this Ibis which is in an absolute top location, I was greeted with big smiles and allocated a room. This room was freshly refurbished which is great, but as I suffer from migraine, triggered by odours too, for me it was a nightmare. I went back down to reception where I immidiately got allocated another room.Perfect :) .In the room I tried the tv, nothing. It didn t take me long to work out it was the batteries. Back down to reception, rather than calling, new set of batteries, cooking on gas !I slept like on a cloud, what fantastic beds !!! On the really small downside, the fan in the bathroom didn t work , neither did the powerpoint on the side of the bed that allows me to see myself in the mirror whilst styling my hair. To be fair, I mentioned it to reception, but rather than moving rooms again, I lived with it. But, it begs the question if the rooms are checked for functionality of all things .On my second day of stay I left the room at 09:30 with the sign 'I am gone, feel free to get in ' displayed. When I returned at 14:00, my room was still not serviced. Again, reception happily offered to rectify this.I also found a note in my room saying that the heating was being serviced over the next 5 days and please find a little fan heater to warm the room. Well, impressed I was not.As nice as the fan heater is, I couldn t get it anywhere near the half of the room where the bathroom is, so that was rather chilly....And finally, the teabags. Dear Ibis hotel, they look fancy in their little paper envelope, but they are simply foul ( sorry ) No taste whatsover. I went out to the local Sainsbury's and bought a whole packet of their own brand which was delicious. But, all in all, super value for money, a great location and really, really super nice staff, I am coming again. Just this little attention to detail which was lacking, but I may have just been jinxed

"Brilliant hotel!!!"
8th January 2013, Rach67582, Inverness
It is near the city centre, very cheap and the service was excellent. And despite the price, the rooms and en suites are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be staying again that is for sure.

"lovely staff, great budget hotel"
4th January 2013, scottishkitty, Burton upon Trent, United Kingdom
We stayed the night before new years eve. The hotel itself was really easy to find. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Definatly loved the pillow topped matress and had a very comfy sleep. Reception staff were great and even loaned me an umbrella as it was raining. The only downside I found to this hotel was the parking. To park outside you have to pay 60p for every 15 mins during the day. The hotel has a special deal with ncp round the corner but it is a bit of a palaver to get to it. Overall I would recommend it.

"Overnight Stay"
22nd December 2012, Duskybaz, Aberdeen, United Kingdom
Went to Glasgow to a concert at the SECC and stayed at the IBIS.The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable, like it was the last time I stayed, I would stay there again. You forget that you are in the heart of Glasgow.

What an excellent hotel. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast and room well worth the money. Have stayed in Glasgow before but this hotel for the price was the best.
