"Nice but refurbishement is needed"

Was there for 4 nights, on Business.Great location.Appreciated the very early morning check in (6:30am).Booked a superior room, but had the pleasure to be upgraded to a junior suite. Very spacious (2 rooms and mini kitchen) however, clearly need refurbishment.Had no meals, nor breakfast, so, can't make any comments on the food.

Although my stay at Novotel Peace Hotel was just a brief 1 night, I must say that in terms of location, they get top marks from me as it is near to all the major attractions and shopping areas for tourists to visit easily. The hotel also upgraded my room and the staff who attended to me were always beaming with smiles when carrying out their duties passionately. They also took good care of my 2 young kids when we were having our meals at the hotel. Aside from the lack of a bathtub for my kids to have a fun time in which is very minor, Novotel Peace Hotel is an excellent hotel to stay in and I will definitely stay there again when I visit Beijing because of its Great Location, Great Service and Great Value. Xie Xie Ni, Novotel Peace Hotel!
"Nice location but needs some renovation"

The location of Novotel peace hotel is quite perfect, close to forbidden city, malls and Tian'anmen square. The concierge service si very efficient (Thank you Jack!) and staff globally very kind.However, the level of Novotel Beijing Peace is far below other Asian Novotel hotels, like in Seoul or in Bali. The cleanness of our room was not perfect and more generally, room seems old. The groud of the bathroom have some stains that can be easily removed. Moreover, breakfast quality is also below Seoul's Hotel (bread, croissants, brioches, coffee, fresh fruits...) event if quantity is OK. However, I'd recommend that hotel especially for location.

I stayed for two nights at Beijing Novotel Peace and would not hesitate to stay again. The location in the centre of everything is great and the rates at this hotel are outstanding value for money.
"Great Location-wise, Service was below par"

Location is wonderful for shopping and also it's walking distance to the Forbidden City. Service was very indifferent. We were a group of 18 people at the last city of our 3-week vacation, so the luggage was substantial but the bellboys did NOT have to make faces and gestures. The conceirge staff were very impatient with explaining tours. The promised hi-speed internet in rooms was non-existent. Like I mentioned, location was the best part of this hotel but if I visit Beijing again, I will check out the other hotels I saw in the area.
"Decent value, but service could be better"

Being where it is and with the relatively new hardware, the hotel is a decent value. However, I was not happy when they assigned me to a smoking room (and the online booking form didn't have an option to select non-smoking). It was a hassle to change.As with Novotel Xinqiao in Beijing, the shower doors don't close well, leaving a big puddle outside the stall.

The service quality of both the room and also staffs are good. The room are well maintained and quite big (Superior Rm). The Staffs are very helpful and also friendly. The location of this hotel is also closely located near Wangfujing and also MTR.

these is the 1st time come to beijing, the ancient city. These city its clean & very attractive. its contradiction situation, modern & ancient meet in Beijing. But the whole situation its good.These hotel location are in down town where a lot tall modern building cover these area & just behind the tall building, there are forbidden city, tianamen square & also temple of heaven where just take 1-2 stop train station only from these hotel. if we want to take sightseeing, maybe these hotel are 1 of other hotel can be consider it to stay.
"Perfect location but they should change their beds"

The location is perfect. However they should change the quality of beds. They are standard and not conform. Check your bill for minibar. Drink or not they are trying to charge evian. For executive floor. There is no life and service out of happy hour times. They should serve at least water fruits etc. they are forgetting executive floorsvare mostly for the guests coming for business. But the location is perfect.

Great location close to Wangfujing and subway. Rooms a little dated but adequate for our purposes. I think we were placed in the older section of the hotel. Very roomy with reasonably modern amenities. Didn't use the other facilities of the hotel such as the Restaurant and Gym but the Restaurant looked OK on passing. The gym was rather small and basic. Very quiet which meant a good nights sleep!

Good hotel, good breakfast, try to include your breakfast deal in your payment. Great furniture at top level accommodation. Should be more flexible with extra bed especially better quality one with high level accommodation

Recently stayed at this hotel. First trip to China. A very good location to stay in China in terms of accesss to shopping, tourist attractions and access to subway which was fast and convenient. The concierge was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Fortunate to stay on the club floor with access to the lounge. Unfortunately room was directly under the lounge so a bit noisy in the mornings for sleeping in. All in all a good experience though.

Very good location and quality of the room. A very good opition for business travellers and leisure also. I made all reservation via Accor website and it went fine and very trustable. The hotel is just some steps way from the shopping area and many restaurants close to the hotel. The room I stayed was awaesome.
"Novotel's worst hotel"

Having stayed at many Novotel hotels in Europe and Asiana... I have leaned to appreciate the good standard of Novotel but this time, I couldn't believe the room I was given. Surely no better than 2 star!! ...in a separate wing barely connected with the main hotel...and that after an upgrade!! I complained to management and was upgraded N/C to the central part of the hotel which resembled what was expected of Novotel... Be careful, it doesn't happen to you!!

Location of the hotel is good and it is very convenient to travel around furthermore it is value for money & very comfortable especially those rooms renovated recently (superior rooms) but standard rooms will be slightly old design. I think the management may consider to change the current bedding as it seem it is not comfortable comparing what I was experience in Novotel Nathan Hong Kong even though the room is smaller comparing this but it really look like you are staying at home....
