"Good value/ location"

Family of four with 2 young kids stayed 5 days in Feb 2013, we liked the walking distance from historical sites. We booked a premiere room, had accessed to the premiere lounge that had a nice view on Beijing roofs. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered good value.I will definitively visit again.

The Peace Hotel is in an excellent location and for a family of 6, including 4 teenagers, accommodation in the two king suites was excellent with lots of room. It was great to have access to the club and the breakfast donwstaris was very good. Great place and affordable accommodation

"Excellent Hotel"

Novotel Peace Hotel is at a very convenient location (easy to get public transport and taxi from there and it is very close to a few interesting tourist attraction places), its staff are helpful and courteous and the restaruants in the hotel pemises provide delicious foods. Its rates are also reasonbale and its breadfast (included in the rates) is very enjoyable. It is certainly value for money staying in this hotel.

Not a bad location but can be noisy on lower floors. Room was tidy but had a layer of dust on bedside lights, TV, sideboards etc. Cleaned but not to the standard that the hotel price would deserve. Varied and good breakfast except the coffee machines kept breaking. Very friendly staff when you could find them.

Hotel is locate in the center of city. There are several shopping centers and local attractions around. Service is on average but lower than my expectation comparing to other LeClub Accor hotels. Room is a little bit old but cleanliness is on average.. The room I stayed is premier room on the 17th floor. It has a damaged door to toilet. the door can not fully close; Shower slide door might leak water to dry area due to the sealing design is not correct; door dead lock has damaged/rust sign that make you feel not fully secure.

This Hotel is in an excellent central location. Great help from the hotel staff with arranging day trips and taxis. Access to the Le Club area on the top floor with the complimentary coffee, tea and snacks at evening was an added bonus of the hotel.

Service and quality of the rooms are very good. Room was quiet and very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Location couldnt be better being close to the subway, Wangfujing shopping street, the food street and convenience stores all around. Forbidden City and Tiananmen were also just a short n inexpensive cab ride away. Concierge was most helpful as well. Unfortunately we loss one of 5 boxes of biscuits on one of the 6 days we stayed there. While the value of the biscuits was small, it is sthg unacceptable in principle, more so if it was sthg valuable like a phone or laptop. That dented an otherwise perfect stay in Novotel and holiday in Beijing.

This is a centre city hotel with good access to all the sights. Taxi from the airport is very cheap but allow an hour from airport to city. The hotel is mainly used by Europeans and Americans so don't expect an 'authentic' Chinese experience. We booked a Premier Suite but it was far from 'premier', with worn furniture and fittings, and a bathroom in need of serious repair; e.g there was mold around the bath. The room gave access to a lounge, which has a good breakfast and also evening drinks and snacks. I would recommend both the attached French restaurant and the Buffet Restaurant; also there are many local restaurants within walking distance as well as McDonald's, KFC and Subway, if that is your thing! The hotel is an easy stroll to Chinese shops as well as an upscale mall with worldwide chain stores in it. Not too sure if I would stay here again, because of the standard of the room ( and I am an Accor Gold member who has stayed in many Novotel hotels with a much better room quality), and also there are several other chain hotels in the area e.g Hilton and Crown Plaza

Booked a Premier room - found this to be great value for the money, Service in the premier lounge was excellent. Hotel is in a very good location - close to main shopping area and not far from the Forbidden City. Ate at the hotel restaurants - variety of food choices whether a la carte or buffet and good sized serves.

This is my third stay in Novotel Peace Beijing. I went there with high expectations, as the previous two had been great.This time around, I insisted my family stayed high, despite the higher prices. But to my dismay, the increased prices (from my last stay) did not bring about better services. In addition, breakfast standards have also dropped.
