"Very good stay"

Reception was nice and listening to client request, not hesitating when we needed a taxi at 03h30 in the morning.Rooms are Ibis standard, good for the value and more than sufficient for the night.Plenty of tv channel in many languages.. not always the case for many hotels accross the globe.Breakfast is amazing, for 10eur, you can eat as much as your belly can contains! Scramble eggs regularly refilled and fresh made, salade, many types of cheese and ham, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit salad, 5 sort of jam ...you name it you got it.Very nice stay and 2min away from Ostbahnhof, 15min away walking from Alexander Platz.I'll come back!

We have stayed at this Ibis several years ago and it has gone downhill since then. We were in Berlin for a festival so didn't spend much time in the room but what we did wasn't the best. The room was much smaller than usual Ibis rooms, as was the bathroom. The air conditioning did not work and the room was always stuffy and too hot. Bedding was awful - pillows were like an unstuffed pillowcase. Towels were small and threadbare. I would only recommend this if you get a deal (as we did) and don't plan to spend very much time in the room at all

From Airport to Hotel a very easy journey with Train Station so near hotel. At the train station one can buy all manner of things from 2 supermarkets. We bought things for a picnic lunch in Potsdam.. the train ride was cheaper than tours and so convenient being near Hotel. Breakfast at Ibis was excellent; heaps of good things to choose from My only problem was that I found the quilt on the bed too hot. I don't use airconditioning as I would get an allergy but even with the window open I would have been OK with a thin cover. Staff very pleasant and helpful. All in all a good choice to stay at this hotel.

Everybody was so friendly and they were always concerned about making you feel confortable. The best is the relation quality/cost. The only problem was that you have to pay for internet in your room; it is free only at hall. Also, international phone calls are so expensive!

Nothing to notice if you are lucky to have a room on the rear side of the hotel (night-club in the front side).The air conditionning should be more efficient.Very good location with regard to the public transportation.

If you've been to other Ibis hotels, it is easily comparable in level of service, that's why it was chosen in the first place. Cleanness of the rooms, service at the desk, level of other available services, everything the same. Unfortunately, there was no water heater and coffee/tee at the room like in UK. Breakfast (sold separately for 10E) is great, large selection of food and it is quite crowded. Food available during the day, from their leaflet was quite bad, but helps when you're hungry. It is just the opposite of the UK: i experienced bad breakfast but good food later there.Location is quite good, close to transportation. There is free internet on the ground floor, but it involves taking some drinks (not mandatory, but the staff comes to you and asks you "would you like something to drink" so...)

We were very satisfied regarding the cleanliness and services as well as the breakfast quality. The rooms were cleaned and the air conditioning system worked well. Hotel staff was polite and prompt and little damage occurred were quickly resolved.

the hotel is wonderful. when I booked online my stay in Ibis Berlin City Ost, I was expecting a kind of a 3 stars hotel, but I was really surprised with the quality of the hotel and everything about it. congratulations to all working team.i wouldn't think twice to stay with you again.

I have stayed at the Ibis Ostbanhof, Berlin on several occassions. The location is ideal, being near the railway station, the rooms are clean and spacious, staff very good and breakfast buffet good. I will stay there again.

I was rather annoyed that my room lacked the usual folder about hotel services and bar menu, which have always been present. Reception was unable to provide me with one. It meant I had to ask reception about everyhing, breakfast times, checkout time, how to set up an alarm call etc.

Nice hotel to arrive to, easy access via the Airport bus and the metro.Efficient Front Desk, easy check in process.Our room for five nights was very comfortable with free wi fi internet.Breakfast buffet was very niceLocation was excellent: you can take the metro to most of the Berlin Historical sites. A good place to stay, with all the Western conveniences.
