"Transport versus price"
23rd May 2012, Norwich, United Kingdom
Handy for free pensioner bus no 25 from Holborn (Central London) yet this remarkable feature not shown on emailed map, nor was nearby rail/tube/light rail interchange. The excellent public transport feature was negated by extortionate hotel price, not helped by restrictive conditions imposed on exchange of A Club voucher. Good tv coverage (eg France and Russia). Some traffic noise and unresponsive heat control.
"one night stay"
29th April 2012, manager202, Portsmouth, United Kingdom
all staff very friendly and helpful. welcoming even though I arrived extremely late.Room at the back of the hotel suffered noise from bins being emptied and deliverys. ok if you have to get up early for business. Clean and comfortable.easy access to public transport. certainly use again.
"Excellent base for city visit"
6th April 2012, Kelso, United Kingdom
Ibis Stratord excellent base for city visit. Railway/tube station approx 10 minutes walk from hotel. Excellent shopping at Stratford Westfield Shopping Centre 10 minutes walk from hotel. Would be an excellent base if attending Olympics as Olympic Park within short walking distance. Although so much new in this area for Olympics area had a very friendly multicultural feeling.Hotel itself was excellent. I'd asked for a quiet room and although bedroom faced onto busy road noise level was minimal when window shut. Breakfast was again excellent value at £7.50.I would certainly go back to Ibis Stratford.
"Backward"
14th February 2012, London, United Kingdom
There is no improvement over the years. Years back, things like hair shampoo, one-paste etc were provided, complimentary card box in the reception desk brings about funs but today are no more. Therefore we are not getting the value for the money being paid. I have recommended the hotel to more than twenty friends in the past but today I am scared of doing that.

"OK hotel in east end london"
23rd January 2012, Leeds
Standard type of Ibis hotel, same the world over, if possible ask for a higher level room just to be sure that there is no noise from passers by or traffic. I was on floor 3, it was fine. Not sure why this hotel or any oter charges for WiFi. I think this is just greedy by hotel company/chain it costs them nothing extra.

"A good basic hotel"
11th January 2012, York, United Kingdom
A good basic hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The food is a bit limited but OK (this only applies to breakfast since there is a restaurant next door, which we didn't use). Now I have to keep typing to make up 200 characters. Blah blah blah blah blah blah

"Recommended with two reservations"
6th August 2011, annie018, Dublin
Happy to recommend this hotel. It's situated close to excellent public transport options, albeit off-centre from London (but beside the new Olympics centre). Usual IBIS high standards and good value. Big issue however with wifi - it's advertised but not really available. It's provided through Orange; I bought it but it was a waste of money - simply not available most of the time. Second issue is hair-dryers. Only realised none in room when I had washed my hair. Down to reception, dripping; queued up, to be told I needed a £10 deposit (which of course I did not have with me). Disappointing that guests are not warned on both these points t check-in, (and in fact, IBIS should not advertise that they have wifi available).

"Nightime noise"
23rd July 2011, Ipswich
The room was not airconditioned, and was poorly ventilated, so in the warmth of summer it was necesary to have the window open a few inches. Sleep was almost impossible due to the noise from large articulated delivery lorries moving around the car park to make deliveries to the Morrison's supermarket next door. Eventually I had to shut the window and tolerate the high temperature and lack of ventilation in the room. I have stayed at this hotel previously in the winter when all windows are shut, and noise was not then a problem.

"Value for money"
27th June 2011, Bratislava
The hotel is located close to underground station, the reception people are very kind and helping. The service was exactly as I expected. Definately recomended as your budget acomodation in London. Accor is becoming my favourite chain for private and aslo business stays.

"A bit of disappointment"
12th January 2011, Siemianowice Slaskie
Not very clean bathroom, stains on the carpet. Charging for TV and wireless internet in the 21st century is absurd! (in most hotels, even in poor countries, it's free of charge) Not good sleep - yells from other rooms and slamming doors all night long (actually a couple of nights). The only advantages: well located, not very expensive (yet for that price I'd expect a FREE tv and internet and a bit of silence at night), left luggage room. However, are not sure if we are going to have another stay there.
