"Excellent service"
23rd May 2012, suzuki69657, Peterborough, United Kingdom
I stayed at this hotel with my daughter as we went to a concert in Leicester. The staff were very helpful, At first we were allocated a third floor room but the receptionist noticed my crutches and promptly moved us to a ground floor room! The room was exceptional, very clean and bright. The bathroom was lovely with an amazing shower!! In the morning we went for 'all you can eat' breakfast..the choice was amazing! The only grumble we had was that they don't offer room service! Although food is available 24/7 you have to order it at the bar! I would highly recommend this hotel.!!

Good hotel, handy for the train station and for night life but can be disturbed by the train announcements.

Parking at hotel very limited but there is a nearby public car park. Why do you need a 100 charecters??

"Wonderful Getaway"
29th February 2012, Leicester, United Kingdom
I only live 12 miles away from the city - but when I go on a night out, I would much rather spend my money on The Ibis Hotel than a taxi back home! It would be the same cost - but the service at the Ibis is impeccable, all staff are so polite, and efficient in their roles. The attention you are given is really quite lovely.I have never stayed in a room that is any less than spotless, and have been happy to reccomend many good friends to your service. Then, there's the breakfast ..... everything that you could desire - whatever your tastes. In a nutshell - perfect for the relaxed traveller, who just want's a friendly face, with all the comforts of home and no panic at the bill.Thank you Ibis - a job well done.Nicky Byrne

"Good in Parts"
11th February 2012, Gloucester, United Kingdom
Bearing in mind it is a budget hotel, it was excellent value for money. Rooms clean and tidy and comfortable. Some members of staff were excellent and typical of the brand (Ibis). Others were not as immediately helpful, but not rude. I would have no hesitation in revisiting.
"6-day stay"
1st February 2012, Minster, United Kingdom
Although near railway station and room overlooked car park in between there was little noise from either of those or from within the hotel itself. Room perfectly adequate although had to request a different chair than that supplied in the room as the original was totally inadequate to sit on. Disappointed that the restaurant couldn't supply a bowl of chips with a meal even though they could the night before - comment was that it was only on the restaurant menu - but we were in the restaurant and there was only the one menu to choose from! D'oh!
"go somewhere else"

nothing decent within walking distance, problems at check in with payment due to their systems and shower leaked out into room where the wall had buckled. very basic and unpleasant wouldnt stay again

Rooms clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. If you get a room on the side of the hotel nearest the railway station loud tannoy calls. However, when I asked to be moved I was accomodated. The bed was very hard.Staff attitude variable from excellent to brusque.Breakfast provided a wide choice from continental to cooked and was well presented.
"Convenient, central location, budget hotel"
8th October 2011, Camberley, United Kingdom
Hotel is conveniently located - walking distance from station and shopping centre. Facilities provided are perfectly adequate for a short term stay - room was clean, warm, comfortable & a decent size. Good hot & cold selection for breakfast. Car park is small but we always managed to find a space. No noise from traffic outside, despite being on a busy dual carriageway. Will probably stay here again.
"Short break"
3rd September 2011, Poulton-le-Fylde
The reception staff were very welcoming on arrival and were always pleasant and helpful. The hotel is fairly centrally placed though by the side of the central ring road and very close to the railway station.Parking was a bit tight but at least there was parking. The room was comfortable, there was adequate storage space and the lighting was good (usually one of my complaints)The communal room was pleasant, comfortable, light and airy. The breakfast buffet was very good and very reasonable when booked on line.

Close to town centre. Staff were friendly. Didn't eat or drink there so cannot comment on that. Shower was great. Room was clean. I'd stay there again for the price I paid. Could have done with a hairdryer in the room as this is normally pretty standard in these types of hotels. Great location for the train station.
"noisy environment"
9th July 2011, Hong Kong
next to the railway statation and a busy highway, so quite noisy if you open the windows, and sometimes you just have to open the window because the aircon not always work.... also cannot use the wifi many things on the food menu were actually not available. so don't think of having dinner in the hotel
"It's an IBIS"
6th July 2011
What else is there to say? But, apparently, I have to use more than 200 characters! Room was OK, windows to outside were sound proofed, shame the doors to the corridors weren't. Didn't try the overpriced breakfast but went to 'classy' Yates in town instead.... Can I go now?
"IBIS Leicester"
11th May 2011, Leicester
I have stayed in the IBIS at Leicester for over a year on and off. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is much improved from last year with a hot breakfast now available. Parking and Ventilation are big problems, and the air cooling is usually switched off. Due to traffic & train station noise it is not really feasible to sleep with the window open. I do believe that the windows/ glazing of the hotel are in need of a service or replacement. From floor 2 up in many of the rooms, the slightest wind causes a high pitched whilstle which ruins sleep. Also the windows do not stop traffic or train station noise to any degree. All that said, I will be spending 2 nights this week there.Graham Jackson
"Business trip"
1st April 2011, Belley
This is the second time I stay in this Ibis hotel. The location of the hotel is good, very near to the train station. Unfortunately the language ability of the front desk staff is not good enough therefore we had some difficulties to check-in and to order our meals. The service level of certain staffs is just unacceptable.Besides, the bathroom smells awful this time. My colleague complained that he couldn't sleep due to that. At the end we still don't know the reason why this strange smell as the bathroom and room look clean.
"Great hotel. Good value. Great service!"
31st March 2011, OutandAb0ut, West Midlands
We stayed for one night to attend a party............for £40. We were very pleased with the room. It was immaculate and very very clean! The bathroom itself was very modern and came with a brilliant shower! Upon arrival the receptionist very helpful and polite! Only downside is the very small car park for such a big hotel! We didn't eat there but the menu looked good with some very reasonable prices. Will def stay here again.
"IBIS Leicester AS YOU WOULD EXPECT AND HOPE"
3rd March 2011, Reeth
Good value, excellent staff and clean tidy room. Exactly what you expect from Ibis. Room was clean and tidy Food was OK breakfast was plentiful and coffee was good. No parking on site was the only drawback but NCP less than 100 yards away and drop off zone easily accessible.
"city visit - first time"
18th February 2011, Hibaldstow
Reasonably well placed for visiting city centre. Car park is small only suitable for approx 20 cars. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast excellent value , limited choice in the evening but good value. Value for money.
