ibis Melbourne Little Bourke Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "giddy"

12th September 2013, 375brigitte, Medowie, Australia

I like the beds the least, the service was very good and I also thought the position of the hotel was very good. My daughter and I needed a budget Hotel and the Ibis provided this. The only other complaint I have is there was construction outside our room which woke us up 2 mornings at about 7:30am.

Management responseDear 375 BrigitteMany thanks for your valuable feedback.Pleased to hear the economy style of the Ibis brand suited your requirements.Unfortunately the surrounding building works which will in the long term improve the area are working within the operational guidelines of their work. These works are now near their completion. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.thanksMary Ellen O'MalleyGeneral Manager

ibis Melbourne Little Bourke Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good value for money"

10th September 2013, Bronnie14, Canberra, Australia

A good basic hotel, with everything needed for good night's sleep. Great proximity to Southern Cross station (easy short walk). Small room with no view, but only needed it as place to sleep. Room was quiet and clean. Lighting was dim - not so good for reading in bed. Friendly helpful reception staff.

ibis Melbourne Little Bourke Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "10 days in IBIS"

1st September 2013, jokhendrag, Surabaya, Indonesia

It is beyond my expectation before. The hotel is clean, rooms are also clean, sleep quality is good and very conveniance location just walking distance from Southren cross station.Hotel staff are very good and always available when you need. But in my opinion it is more better if there is a free WiFi conection in the lobby.Thank you

ibis Melbourne Little Bourke Street: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Perfect position"

15th August 2013, jackandjill2013, Launceston, Australia

Room small but very clean with a northerly aspect and views to skyline.Welcoming and efficient staff.Great position and easy walking to venues we required. There is a nightclub very close that may be annoying to some as bass beat can be heard into wee hours.Did not worry us as sound sleepers and very warm and comfortable room.

ibis Melbourne Little Bourke Street: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good value at Little Bourke Street Ibis"

13th August 2013, 36Peter36, Geelong, Australia

I stay here regularly for business; its well located just a short walk from Southern Cross station and trams along Bourke St; plenty of bars and eateries nearby. Its also relatively quiet there. Rooms are comfortable, small and spartan. The bathroom is good. Very good value deals can be got here. Not much in terms of other facilities just a breakfast cafe but if you want a bargain clean comforatble and accessible I recommend this venue

ibis Melbourne Little Bourke Street: 2.0 out of 5 stars "no fresh air, plenty of hot water, no cold water pressure, tv volume not working"

22nd July 2013, spatout, Sydney, Australia

first of all, the room is really stuffy with the noisy air-con, if you turn the air con off, to get some sleep, the small room gets really stuffy, with no window to open for fresh air,the hot water has plenty of pressure, however the cold water has hardly any pressure in the shower, very strange.also the volume on the TV remote didn't work, nor did it on occasion work with the replacement remote.breakfast is $20
