Hotel and services were really good, some building work at the time of stay made it difficult to negotiate the entrance. Didn't remember reading anywhere or being notified that building work was taking place

With modern technology you must include internet with room charge.Even though without these type of facilities the hotel is expensive.

The Hotel is quite nice and service was great. Location is a little difficult, if driving, because Swanston street is currently under redevelopment and so you cannot drive into Swanston street.You need to enter from the lane way.We stayed in the suite which was OK. (just ok) The suite has a nice big lounging area but a tiny little bedroom. I think it would make it more "grand" if the wall in the bedroom was not there which would make you feel you were in something special. The point is, the layout is not so great.The bathroom was a complete disappointment. The bath had lots of wear and tear marks in it which made it look dirty (although it was clean). It was not a pleasant look for a 4.5 star hotel.. It would not cost much to replace the bath..Overall, our stay was nice, but I would not stay in the suite again. Probably go for the king room.

Great location for shopping and for China town. Value for money. Rooms are good size, Breakfast has great range and staff were very helpful.

As a regular traveller and user of Accor the Swanston iun the heart of Melbourne CBD is conveniently located and easy to by train, bus or plane. The rooms are very well appointed with modern amenities and well maintained. The lobby and check in area is welcoming and a friendly smile advising you are alreadt checked and are a fitting end to a long day.Food & Beverages are excellent as it the staff and the locations within the hotel or for a spot of fresh air and night life it's a couple of steps into Little Bourke St. or the Bourke St Mall.

Had a great stay would have used the parking but thought that $30 a day when we where not removing the car until we left 4 days later was expensive.

We stayed for two nights and found the Hotel in a great position. China town one way and lovely little Italian etc eateries on the other. Loved it! Food excellent at the Hotel we had dinner in the Cocoon lounge then breakfast in the Groove cafe the next day. The only thing was it was a bit loud through the night with people coming back from partying but only noise from the streets not in the Hotel. Staff were friendly and all in all we had a lovely time. THANKYOU!!!

Great place to stay in central Melbourne, just off the main Mall between Myers and David Jones. Short tram ride/ walk to Markets or other shopping areas. Hotel staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Travelled in a group of four and between our two rooms, located next door to each other were able to have a double bed each. Would recomend this for a girls shopping trip to Melbourne.

I have stayed here several times and enjoy the Hotel. I am always disappointed by the reception staff who never seem to be very happy. Efficient service but not particularly friendly.Overall, a great hotel and I will continue to stay here.

Very nice hotel, service was great and the best location! Did not catch a tram or any other public transport, once. Easily accessible to all parts of the Melbourne CBD. Highly recommend

Telephone charges very expensive. Desk provided useful for writing business reports. Hotel is in a good central position and easy to get trams and trains.

This hotel is tops for location. Walk outside the door and your in the heart of Melbourne with transport in four directions just 10 metres away. We stayed in a standard room which was very comfortable and spacious with microwave, toaster and cutlery and crockery plus the usual tea making and refiregerator. Not many hotels have toasters and microwaves in their rooms.. Not much to dislike.

My daughter and I stayed 17th April - 23rd April 2012. We had a lovely 6 nights at this hotel. The only thing we did not enjoy was the Coccoon Bar meal, there was only 1 person on the bar with quite a few people ordering drinks and meals. The meals werenot very inspiring, my daughter ordered cheese burgers and got hot and spicy burgers with no cheese. Orders aroun d the bar seemed to be mixed up, get your meal no cultery. Just not a pleasing experiance. Everything else was good, the housekeeping people were very good, Matthew on Conceriage very good and repection staff too. Will be back

Hotel overall was nice and in great location for shopping. Porter guys were extremely helpful and some waiter staff were also outstanding. The room was great but the bathroom tile grout is in need of repair and a good clean in my opinion. This let the room down a little. Also a better design for fridge and coffee seperate from the tv cabinet would be wiser. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, we had daily massage to accomodate for the restless sleep. The hallway on our level stank like smoke and carpet was very soiled, but not of massive concern once in our room! Lifts were nice, general staff were curtious and helpful overall. We enjoyed our stay but the little things make all the difference!

Firstly the location of the hotel is great you are so close to so many attractions and you can walk or catch a tram. The room I had was very well appointed and clean.

Our stay was very pleasant. The location as perfect for our needs and service was excellent. I did however think pre-paid breakfast was disapointing.On one occasion my husband paid $18 for a bowl of cereal. If we come again we will not be ordering pre-paid.Otherwise our stay was great.
