"Always a great stay!"

Pros - 1) We are regular stayers in the 1 bedroom spa apartment and it is quiet, spacious and clean.2)The restaurant has a great menu and the food is excellent. 3) There so much to do in and outside of the resort at Coffs Harbour.4) The service is excellent from all sectors of the resort. We have to make special mention of the waitress "Sylvia" who made our dining experience entertaining and enjoyable. Also "Danielle" was excellent in the dining room too. Thanks girls!!Negatives - 1) One major issue with our experience in the restaurant was the entree dish we ordered was pork belly and prawns in rice paper rolls and the menu did not state that they were served cold. Expecting them to be a hot dish it was not a pleasant experience. We were told we weren't the only ones to have this happen. Needs to be addressed to the chef by the hotel. 2) The hotel must become a participant in the A-Club system. They will be losing customers without this as it is a major reason why people book through Accor to gain points for their stay. 3) The breakfasts were not at the discount rate under the Advantage Plus system. This was a dissapointment. The lunch & dinners were though which was a great saving.

Service is excellent, Staff are very nice and friendly & helpfulEspecially Don on the front deskClean Rooms every thing great except....The beds are that old its more canoe than bed, even the cheapest drive in motels have better beds.If your not a smoker then don't open your door to the outside balcony, as all the cigarette smoke from the other people smoking out on their belcony's blows straight into your room. We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the Refrigerator was very noisy and kept cutting in and out. The reception areas were great we had our meal which we ordered at the bar and it was exceptional. We then relaxed with a glass of wine which was wonderful after a long days travelling. We do have a question though. We had our 50% discount on our meal that night but were surprised to hear there was no discount at breakfast. We were told it was because it was a resort and not a hotel. We had never heard of that before, and what is the difference between lunch & dinner and breakfast?Beverley Michel
