We had the most fabulous time at the Sofitel, the staff were very friendly and attentive, evry aspect of our stay was a pleasure.

I stay at the Sofitel New York for business every month. When it came time to travel to Chicago for pleasure, we immediately decided to stay at the Sofitel Chicago. The hotel is beautiful and well-located and the staff is friendly and helpful. The Sofitel Chicago is one of the best hotels in the city, if not the United States. Thank you to the staff for making our stay perfect.

Bridgette Bardot has lent her face, and body to the walls of Sofitel, in a unique exhibition of photographs that are hanging in the lobby, reception and lounge. What is better than seeing her right before going to sleep and then again when you wake in the morning. Breakfast at the Sofitel is usually one of the best city deals for a power breakfast that surpasses the usual fair, and with great service. The hotel rooms are on par with Ritz and Four Seasons, but with a continental influence.

Great location, wonderful service and a very nice hotel. We would stay again! The room was very comfortable including pillows and bedding. The room was decorated in a lovely and comfortable fashion. Front door staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Some of the best I have experienced. The room and hotel quality was an excellent value and we would stay again.The complementary drinks in the hotel bar were a very nice touch as were the high quality chocolates.

I usually enjoy staying at a Sofitel but this one is great. the beds are terrific and they have a great selection of pillows. The building is modern and looks great and the area is surrounded by restaurants and bars so there is plenty to do.The great part here is the restaurant for dinner. I usually never bother with hotel restaurants for dinner but viewing the menu made me think twice. The food was outstanding and the service in the restaurant was also outstanding. Highly recommended.

"Nice Chicago Weekend"

The Hotel was very accommodating and the concierge was very helpful at setting up reservations at some of the new restaurants in town. All in all a very good experience. The rooms are very nice but small and room service is a bit on the pricey side but very good in taste. The bar downstairs is very modern and a good upgrade over regular hotel bars.

Great hotel, great service. The only thing I would say could be better was the mattress was too soft, but the feather bed on top was divine. They were unable to accommodate us for an additional day to our stay because they had no rooms available.

The rooms are excellent, except maybe for the bed, which I prefere to be equiped with an orthopedic mattress, more firm.Very clean, very spacious, very well luminated, very good furniture, very good accesories... Only a single minus: the lack of any digestive drink in the minibar.I had an excellent picnic basket, even the weather was ugly in the picnic day, so I ate it in bed :)The service was great, the staff very nice.One tip: the continental breakfast is more than enough for 2 people, so you don't need to pay for 2... Just order for 1 guest in the room!

We LOVED this hotel. Located within walking/ taxi distance of most everything we wanted to see, this place is one of the nicest hotels we've found. What impressed us most was the HIGH, HIGH level of customer service. It was so good that we felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. No detail was too small. I even asked the room service delivery person a random question about the bed linens, and within 2 minutes of his leaving, we got a call from housekeeping with the answer to our question. In addition to the prompt response, the housekeeping person had informed room service of the answer in the event the question arose again. One more thing: lovely room amenities, including a lighted closet hanging rod! We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

"Excellent location"

It is a magnificent location, near Michigan Ave and Rush St, perfect if youre in town for shopping or fun. I had some issues with my rooms cleanliness, but this was made up for by the excellent attitude of ALL of the staff. I do recomend this hotel, although do hope they resolve the minor cleanliness issues.

"Style in Chicago"

Very stylish and smart hotel. Normal rooms smallish,so booked two suites and found them to be large with god,big marble bathrooms. Dined in restaurant downstairs and enjoyed food and ambiance, but a fair bit more expensive than local eateries. Altogether a very pleasant stay except for concierge desk considering any enquiry to be a major inconvenience to them.
