ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Fantastic"

21st February 2013, Asianbear, Singapore, Singapore

Stayed for two days for holiday in Paris and loved it. The notice board along corridors and the lift reminding guests to lock doors and notice of past incident of theft was little daunting but otherwise the location and hotel is great and safe. Its so centrally located, I am definitely coming back! Thank you

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Value for money in the heart of Paris"

13th February 2013, Ian P, London, United Kingdom

Fifteen minutes from the Seine, twenty-five minutes to Montmartre and across the road from probably the best chocolate shop in Paris. A clean and comfortable hotel albeit in the typical no frills Ibis style. Great value at the price.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Fantastic Location - Great Value hotel"

6th January 2013, InezEdinburgh, Edinburgh

We often stay in Ibis Hotels and this one was really good. Its location could not be better - within walking distance of many city centre attractions. Nearby were excellent restaurant s and every kind of shop. A really nice area. The room was small but very good and the bathroom was very well appointed. The air conditioning was not easy to control but otherwise a very good hotel in central ParisWe had booked and paid in October, so were surprised to be asked to confirm our booking!

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Business hotel close to blv hausmann and gare du nord"

8th December 2012, Petbill, Le Muy, France

Ibis grand blv is a good value for money hotel. Clean, correct, no strings. This is my preferred hub in Paris. Close to the metro, restaurants of all types around. The staff is trained, quick, helpful.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Well located, nice and comfortable"

19th November 2012, rosabavi, Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Service is really kind and helpful. Location is good, because you have three metro stations really near. Next to the hotel you have some bars, restaurants, supermarket, bakery... The only thing is that our room wasn't very big, but everything was clean and correct. So, I recomend this hotel!

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "3 nights."

12th November 2012, delpotrono, Banstead

Clean and inviting, our first room was big, clean and comfortable looking but it was at the back and a little dark so we asked to change. Given a front room, a bit smaller but clean and brighter. Being at the front there was fairly heavy traffic which could only be heard when the d/glazed windows were open. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful, even trying to tune our TV in to receive the sport channel..Breakfast was added and it was excellent, continental but we were on the continent..All round highly recommended.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice spot."

10th November 2012, goughy60, Lake Cathie NSW Australia

I love Montematre and loved the location of this hotel. We are happy to walk 12 -14 kilometres per day and it is between the river and the Moulin Rouge district and therefore within walking distance of both areas. For those who don't like to walk its also close to the metro. The rooms were reasonable and as expected for Ibis, smallish bathroom but not a real problem. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only one disappointing thing was the breakfast. We have now stayed in 5 Ibis Hotels on this trip and this was the worst breakfast by far in quality and variety although the staff member on breakfast was delightful. Would I say there again. Yes, our room in the rooftops of Paris was fabulous, we just wouldn't buy breakfast time.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good location with a place to sleep"

12th October 2012, HonWong, Hong Kong, China

Hotel is close to three metro stations and Opera district. If you need a place to sleep, that's fine. Room is extremely small and poorly designed (Mine's bathroom is bigger than bedroom area) with limited storage. Old lift and limited facilities.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Paris hotel"

30th August 2012, Dancer236, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Excellent service, friendly staff and a central location with several Metro stops nearby. Restaurants abound in the area with good food and service. The Opera is close also Galeries Lafayette for shopping.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Not so nice"

28th August 2012, Bloomerdd, HK

We selected this hotel because of its location. It is very near to metro station with only 5 minutes walk. The room was not so nice as some black-color-dust came out from the air conditioner. The dust made the bed dirty. We found the windows were widely opened while room cleaning which was quite dangerous if we put something valuable in the room when we were out. In term of cleanliness, it is definitely not a good choice when comparing with other Accor hotels we have stayed. We will select another hotel if we stay in Paris in future.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent hotel and location."

13th June 2012, Bandolaise, Bandol, France

This is the second time we have stayed at Ibis Grands Boulevards Opera and it won't be the last. The hotel itself is very well situated for many places of interest, well within walking distance of most places. The restaurants in the area are very good and not too expensive. We will be returning.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great value for Money"

8th May 2012, galita81, Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Great hotel to stay in Paris if you're on a budget but like to be well treated and sleep in a nice room. The location is very central (10 minutes walking from the Opera) and 3 metro stations at less than 5 minutes walking. The room was clean and the staff very nice.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "IBIS PARIS - CENTER OF SHOPPING"

30th April 2012, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

PARIS GRAND BOULEVARDSIbis hotels are part of the Accor Hotel Chain. They are utilitarian hotels popular with business people and frugal vacationers. They are typically located in convenient transport hubs in big European cities. They are clean comfortable but without frills. Almost all Ibis hotels have the same décor, fabrics and colors. There are no true closets are drawers but shelves and alcoves. The beds are large and comfortable and the bathrooms spotless but usually only with a shower. In towns where you are going to be out all day this is a perfect place to crash for the night. Breakfasts are available but usually extra. The important thing is then location. Of all the Ibis hotels I have stayed at in Paris the Grand Boulevards has one of the best locations as it is up a slight hill on a busy side street from the Grand Boulevards metro stop and the point where Poissonere turns into Hausmann, a short walk from the Opera and the major department stores. The narrow street which eventually leads to Montmarte is full of ethnic eateries and food shops. This are is also where several of the wonderful covered arcades or galleries of quaint old stores exist. At the top of the opposite end of the street is Rue de Lafayette a main thoroughfare leading to the rail stations Gare de Nord and Gare de Est at one end and Galleries de Lafayette at the other. Great location in the center of things. Busy at night with the noise of the side walk cafes. But not too bad and gets quiet late at night.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good budget hotel, but dont expect the world!"

24th April 2012, VikashH, London, United Kingdom

Nice place to stay, in a fantastic area full of bars and restaurants, plus very close to a tube station (Le Pelittier). Not a great deal of space, but for a short break its more than enough.Only downside is you pay to store your luggage, and whilst I don't mind that (as at least you know it is secure), it was like €4-€6.

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Paris Stay"

26th March 2012, Boulder, Colorado, USA

The staff was very nice and all spoke English well. My only suggestions would be to have an alarm clock in the room (there was no clock at all) and a small refrigerator (I know this isn't normal for Europe, but some hotels do have at least a minibar fridge).

ibis Paris Grands Boulevards Opera 9ème: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good Budget Hotel Option"

24th February 2012, Chicago, Illinois, USA

This hotel is a good budget option. The hotel is simple but had everything we needed-comfortable beds and pillows, nice hot shower and close to two metro stops, all for a very reasonable price. The breakfast in the morning consisted of various baked goods, coffee as well as fritattas. The crepe shop up the street was a big hit with our teenagers.
