Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Mercure Colloseo"

19th February 2013, Jayant B, Melbourne, Australia

Very friendly staff. Great location, good breakfast.... We were given a upgrade to a suite so the room was large enough. Sound proofing could be better. 5 min walk from the metro. Bus stop right at the doorstep

Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Never Again.. what a big mistake, i cannot believe this is an accor group hotel.. thinking of leaving accor after this"

7th February 2013, Deepinder Singh B, London, United Kingdom

i cannot believe that a hotel on the accor network can have such dirty carpets and room quality... also paying an average 100 GBP per night for a room that did not have tea or coffee maker in the room, made me feel what a mistake i had made.Never again, will i be staying at this hotel. The only plus side was tha staff were very nice and courteous!!

Management responseDear Guest, Thank you leaving a review and about your stay the Mercure Roma Delta Colosseo. I am glad of the positive feedback on our staff despite being so unsatisfied of the whole experience. We are aware that our room need to be improved in some aspect, this is why we are carrying some major refurbishment works and will be soon able to offer to our Guest some brand new rooms equipped with tea and coffee making facility.I can assure you that all our rooms and public areas are carefully cleaned daily, unfortunately our carpet is stained irremediably in some areas but a complete replacement is already planned. I thank you again for your review and look forward to welcoming you again in our hotel. Laura AlbanoGeneral ManagerMercure Roma Delta Colosseo

Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Reasonable room"

1st February 2013, gstrath, Santa Monica, California, USA

The room was tiny (and we had the largest in the hotel!), but the bed was queen. Not comfortable however. Venting in the bath a problem. Fair location. I would consider staying here again, but would suggest something closer to Spanish Stairs if you are shopping.

Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Very friendly and helpful staff"

27th January 2013, Sherry N, Melbourne, Australia

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was lovely. The location near the Colleseum was excellent. The hotel is being refurbished and then it will be even better. I love this hotel. I rate it as excellent. From Sherry

Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Weekend Break Rome"

21st December 2012

Lovely clean hotel, a great place to stay, helpful and friendly staff. Right next to the colosseum. Would highly recommend. Recommend the breakfast. There is a Tram stop right outside which will bring you into the centre of Rome.

Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Near Colosseum, renew in progress, awkward architecture."

8th November 2012, amrdeus, Porto Alegre

This was our last hotel in honeymoon. Rome was a high point in our trip but the hotel was just average. The main problem was about it's age. When I reserved the hotel it was stated in the site that it was in renovation process, but we took a old style room and you could really feel it's age. Also, the architecture was awkward, we have a pillar in front of our bed and the windows made us feel inside a submarine. The breakfast didn't offered too many options but was necessary since there were no options nearby. Being in a walking distance from Colosseum was a plus, see it from the top floor even better (a bit better if access to swimming pool were possible at night, great pics could be taken). The cost benefit of this hotel was fine, but except for Colosseum we always needed to make connections in the tube. Colosseum was 300 meters away from hotel and tube was front facing the Colosseum.
