"A good place to stay"

This was our second one-night stay at this hotel and again we enjoyed a comfortable night . The room was simply but comfortably furnished complete with a newly refurbished bed which was excellent. The shower is one of the best I have seen , very easy to get in and out of and again reassuringly clean. The only downside was noise from revelers arriving back at the hotel late, but this is probably to be expected these days on a Saturday night. The breakfast was simple but adequate. We would happily stay here again.

"Absolutely Fabulous"

Me and my boyfriend went to Ibis Sheffield City for valentines day and it was the best experience of a hotel we have ever had. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing. They were friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good although there could have been a bit more of a variety and the same with the alcoholic drinks but apart from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people as our experience was excellent.

"Very nice hotel and excellent value for money"

Arrived for checkin at 3pm which was swift, rooms were very clean and had a good power shower. location good for the train station were as its a little steep to the night life but not a major problem. staff were totally helpful through out our stay many thanks to the ibis team.

"Ibis sheffield"

I stay at the Ibis sheffield regularly. Why? Because it is a good location, keenly priced, clean, comfortable and the staff are generally helpful and pleasant. I have tried Travelodge which is nearby, and though cheaper was grotty. I have also tried a couple of 4* hotels in Sheffield, and whilst more expensive, no discernible benefit as I eat out most nights.

"I would stay again"

Good location, very friendly staff, good value for money , I had a good nights sleep as all was quiet..On e little complaint would be that the WiFi could be a liitle cheaper (I had a tablet not a laptop).

"Good budget hotel"

The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. On arrival, using the toilet there was a problem with noisy plumbing but this wasa rectified while I was out. Another minor repair was also dealt with. The new bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast is a combination of hot and cold foods with a good selection. Although the immediate area looks a bit run down, the hotel is a short walk to the city centre and trams and Meadowhall is about a 15 minute tram ride away It is also a short walk from the bus station. For a budget hotel I would recommend it.

"Fantastic"

I loved it. The room was in perfect condition upon arrival, and the hotel was a great location, only a 2 minute walk really from the main streets, and easy to find. The service people were very lovely, I arrived before check in so they offered to store my items in a store room. If I was sitting in the main area they asked if I was okay or needed anything, and they looked after my bags again after check out for me until my train. The bed was so comfy, and i could control the heating in my room. I had a great view of the street. Only thing is there is no shampoo or conditioner in the room, but sure you can always bring your own or buy some. It was worth the money I think, couldnt have asked for better.

"Excellent hotel"

Excellent hotel, great location very close to tram station that takes you direct to train station and meadow hall ,also within easy walking distance to city centre shops and resturants. Staff very helpful and friendly room clean

"I've Been Into Sheffield"

Overall a good stay. The hotel is well situated for the train, bus & tram. Only a few minutes walk to any. Again the city centre is only a few minutes walk away. A good budget hotel with clean rooms. Did not experience breakfast. The only down side to our stay, was people talking outside of the hotel till the early hours.

"Unexpected good value"

The Ibis chain has aleways been reliable - modern, clean, efficient and oh so homogenoue - go to bed in Barcelona, wake up in Portsmouth, no difference - which actually is good. But the Sheffield City branch has actually managed to give a very pleasant and personal service, and since Ibis upgraded the breakfast, it's really a pleasant experience which won't break the bank.
