"hard to be too critical"
7th December 2012, Visitor892, London, United Kingdom
.....but, the room booked was a superior room, which I guess earned the title as a consequence of tea and coffee facility being provided in room. To be honest I would expect that these days at an above average style hotel. The room was super sized as in super small and its for this reason only I would mark the hotel down, particularly as I anticipated (and paid extra ) for "superior". I imagine standard is a similar scale to a dog kennel!Everything else was good but next time I will save money and stay up the road.
"Nice weekend in Deauville"

The Mercure Deauville Hotel du Yacht Club is located near the Yacht Club, walking distance from the marketplace, the main shopping street and the Casino. Also the beach is just a stroll away. The hotel has nice rooms most with a balcony. Although the hotel provides breakfast it does not have a restaurant which is rather unusual for a Mercure in my experience ... however being that close to the town center there are plenty of lunch and dinner options with easy walking distance. Overall a very nice place to stay for a weekend in Deauville.
"Hotel du Yacht Club"

Average hotel, but very hard beds resulting in a poor nights sleep. On the second morning a very large group of chinese guests descended on the dining room all together, resulting in no available dining spaces for any other guests.Additionally after they had left, there was very little food or clean crockery available for any one else.It was quite obvious that this hotel is unable to cope with large groups of people as the dining room is far too small and has insufficient staff, facilities and equipment
