"Good Night's Sleep"

Friendly service, helpful receptionist, a good night's sleep and an excellent breakfast. The only problem I encountered was that the goat's cheese tart I ordered in the Restaurant was undercooked and still cold in places. Perhaps this was becauase I was the only diner. Otherwise, the stay was excellent value for money. Thank you

"Does what it needs to"

The IBIS is a good place to stay for a couple of nights when you're looking for somewhere to sleep. It's clean, friendly and in a great spot.I would say it's slightly too expensive in comparison to other hotels in the area for what you actually get.Rooms were comfy and clean.

Stayed with the family 2 adults 2 children, booked two rooms with breakfast, good value for money not the ritz but good clean rooms, with a belly buster breakfast

"It was just perfect!"

Everything was perfect! The hotel was really neat, people was very professional and respectful. We had a little issue with the bathroom (the sink got stuck) and they solved the problem, right away. Once I need it some photocopies and they did them for me as soon as I asked for. I would totally recommend this hotel for people who want a good service, at a very affordable price away from the noisy central London.

"Lack of services"

I have been usually content with the quality of services. But this time, I booked two rooms. In one room, the shower; the phone and the TV don't work! The staff tried to solve these issues but didn't succeed and let me without any solution (despite the fact that the hotel is committed to slove any problems in 15minutes!). I take the room at 21h00, so I had no other choice than to stay despite the fact I had waited for an urgent call. In the morning, hopefully the washbasins worked. In the second room, the TV did not work. I must say that it is the first time I have been so disappointed. Last but not least, I asked to switch the car park fee to a specfic bill. Given the fact the bill had been been already released, I was told it was impossible. It is hard for me to believe this reason.RegardsSylvain

Nothing to dislike about this hotel or the staff, who could not do enough for us. Good location in the centre of Stevenage with subsidised secure parking a very short walk away.Would stay again and not hesitate to recommend.

"Quiet, friendly and inexpensive town centre hotel"

An inexpensive hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located for the main shopping area, leisure facilities and the railway station (5 minutes walk). Very quiet at night so no disturbances to sleep.I really like the walk-in shower in the en-suite and the free Wifi in the room is a very useful feature.

First class hotel was suprised by it and expected a lot less. Not the normal Ibis in the centre of Stevenage and it is high rise very clean spacious rooms. Only comment is that there needs to be more room between the toilet and the walk in shower but an impressive stop.Is next door to large Tesco but that did not have any effect on stay.

"Good value for money"

The hotel is under re-furbishment therefore everything is very clean and new. Staff is polite. I didn't have the chance to try to restaurant. I also found the location opposite a 24-hrs open Tesco store very convenient.This was my second time at this premises and will definitely come back.
