"Good hotel, great staff"

First trip to Lyon, travelling TGV so we booked near a railway station for convenience. Hotel is easy to find and just a couple of minutes walk from Perrache station. Reception staff are resourceful and helpful and the hotel is clean and quiet. The breakfast organization and the choice of food is also terrific and good value. This is a chain hotel but the staff make staying there special.

Room is clean and comfortable. People working there is nice and helpful. There is a famous restaurant so close to the hotel. Good place!

just had to spend a night in Lyon , arrived at 19:30 with TGV from Paris , had enough time to check in , and had a great dinner next door at Brasserie Georges. would have love to sleep longer in the morning but corridors are rather noisy ...

very clean, spacious room and bathroom, beautiful stairs, nice and helpful staff, just beside the somptuous Brasserie St Georges... only downside would be the location just behind Perrache, not the best area, but very central anyway
"A Short Stay in Lyon"

The Ibis Centre, Lyon Gare Perrache is a centrally situated, clean and comfortable hotel. The location is a short tram ride from Lyon city centre, it's location make it slightly cheaper and value for money. The staff were very pleasant, spoke excellent english and were very helpful. The only downside were builders working on the adjacent property, it was noisy early in the morning.

Location is ideal for a stay in Lyon.The city centre is only a 10 min walk away.Parking is not available at the hotel and we had to use the public parking. It was only a few minutes away but the 16 euro a day cost adds almost 20% to the cost of the room If you want breakfast and parking it adds 25% to the cost of the room.Why doesnt Ibis have an agreement with the parking authority to give visitors a parking discount. Visitors bring money into a city and they should be encouraged-large parking charges are not an encouragement.Finally we try to use Ibis wherever possible and used 4 Ibis hotels on the 2 weeks we spent in France on this trip.Breakfast is identical in all Ibis hotels and after a while it becomes boring.

Our stay at the Perrache Ibis was perhaps the best of all the Ibis we stayed in this trip.Very friendly and helpful personnel, quiet and efficient a/c, well-managed and pleasantbreakfast, and splendid location. Wished we stayed longer.Lita and Elliot
"Perfect place to stay on the way back home from holiday"

Very easy to find, clean rooms, very good beds. Bathroom exceptionally clean !City center in walking distance, we walked all the way through the city and took the subway back (goes every 5 minutes until 0:40).For 55 Euro a room the best place to stay in Lyon ! The breakfast for 8 Euro is also a good price and can be recommended

As habituary visitor of IBIS hotels, this hotel was as expected. Cleanliness and staff were nice. Breakfast and bathroom were better than expected.One very critical note: When you are checking in, I expect that staff dealing with your check in gives you full attention! It is very annoying if for some reason another client asks attention from the staff member, that the staff member stops helping you, and gives attention to this other client. I expect that she tells the other client to wait until she is done with us.This is the second time this happens to me in an ACCOR hotel in France!
