Great room, very comfortable and well appointed, very fair value for money. Friendly helpful staff, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone attending a function at Sydney Olympic Park, Very handy to all major venues.

Great location, great sleep, great food... Especially the breakfast...We will stay here again for sure... The staff were excellent, this was especially pleasing. The room was really nice, tastefully decorated and quiet and very comfortable, especially the mattress and pillows. Well Done to Novotel...

"Upgrade to Pullman"

As the Novotel was overbooked we were upgraded to the Pullman Hotel, excellent hotel, 5 star all the way however the breakfast was only 3 star.

Quality throughout. A little expensive but quality and location make up for that. Quiet, clean accommodation, friendly service.

"Excellent"

Had a fantastic stay, felt very spoilt as we enjoyed the seafood platter for dinner both nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this accommodation.

"Great Hotel for the right occasion..."

A great hotel, excellent service, clean, nice rooms (although the decor is a little loud!) and fantastic buffet breakfast. Excellent place to stay if you have a function on at Olympic park and looking for accommodation that is better than basic/average. Otherwise its about a 30-40 minute train ride to the city.Cost is reasonable if you book early enough or are a member with the Accor hotels group...usually a breakfast inclusive deal available.A couple of computers downstairs for internet, but in room internet prices are obscene. Take your smart phone and tether.

Fantastic service from front desk and restaurant people - all happy. smiling and willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable.We had a seafood platter on one night and the Executive Chef sent me an email with the recipe of one of the dishes!!Would definitely come back

"Happy"

We went down for breakfast and when we got back to collect our things someone had been in the room and removed the toilet paper. The hair dryer only has one speed so that need fixing, and the bath looked to be dirty. Apart from that we had a great stay.

"Great hotel"

Our stay was brief but the hotel was lovely. Only floor was the breakfast area was hard to get a table, the tables were left dirty while people waited to be seated and lots of the food was running out even though it was only 8.30 on Sunday morning

"Weekend Escape"

Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed the weekend escape package, greatvalue for a family, loved the seafood platter. The buffet breakfast was excellent, great selection.Would definetly be back for the escape package!

Very dissappointed on arrival no porter, service was slow on check in. Room was not cleaned properly after first night, on one occassion forget to give us any towels, next two nights didn't clean shower. Resturant was very average, not a lot of variety for a vegetarian. Other guests in near by rooms very noisy. General service at hotel very poor.

The bath and shower were not quite user friendly for a person with disability. Other wise very convenient for business and entertainment. Was a little difficult yo get to buy car because of closed roads and ANZ Stadium.

I have stayed in many hotels across the country through work and leisure to find this hotel no better than any hotel in any regional area in the country. The price may have related to the location and event in the close proximity, this hotel still does not show value for money even with the price per head for breakfast and the many minor issues for a room in a 4star plus rated hotel. I am sure doors should latch, remotes for tv should work, and 'power boards' on the floor for power supply isnt real impressive for the price. My husband and I were very dissapointed and will rethink our next stay at this hotel.

"Stayed at Pullman not Novotel"

Have stayed at Pullman befofe and have found it to be very good. Dinner was excellent. Only problem was that the TV in the room (453) did not operate properly losing picture and sound intermittently.

"Easter Show"

Great Location and spa bath excellent however room was cramped with fold out sofa. We paid $512.00 for Easter Show package in a spa room with 2 children aged 6 and 8. The only thing going for this is the location after an exhausting day at Easter Show. Parking terrible as packed. No assistance with bags on checkin or out. Breakfast was fair at best. Poor service and overall not happy with the stay. Would stay elsewhere on site next time.

This hotel is an excellent venue to stay at when you are seeing events such as The Royal Easter Show, AFL, ARL & NRL Games (at ANZ Stadium), Concerts etc. Polite and friendly staff. The only down side to breakfast. The hot food isn't hot, it is just about cold.Disappointing, when it is pre-[aid and you intend spending the day walking aroung the Easter Show.

"Experience Easter at Novotel Homebush bay"

We had a great time over Easter at the Novotel Motel at Homebush. Location was outstanding as we had competitions at the Royal Easter Show. The only thing that let the Motel down was the waiting time for a lift between 8am & 10am every morning. Other then that we had a lovely time.

I specialy made sure I had my family booked for members fo a day over our stay. we couldnt use this service as the hotel had event meals on both nights. As i checked and booked in with the staff for dinner on 7th April and when we went we were told we could use our ACard the only 50 percent discount was on breakfast. then went we did go to breakfast as i had all ready per paid back in October 2011 i was told we were not on the list. The lady at the desk on 9th April was very helpfull and refunder the $59 we had paid and the gave 2 of us a free breakfast. AT NO TIME WE WERE ADVISED ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO USE OUR DISCOUNT ON FOOD. Thank Aileen

"Upgraded to Pullman"

What a pleasant surprise to be upgraded to the Pullman Hotel during the Easter weekend. The staff were friendly helpful and the service during our stay was excellent. We enjoyed some healthy cocktails in the lobby bar however didn't have the opportunity to sample the menu. The room was nice, great view, a reasonable size and the bed super comfortable with particularly nice sheets...the only fault the room was a very loose handle on the shower door...

The Novotel at Homebush is an ideal base to attend the annual Royal Easter Show. With friendly service and comfortable rooms. The added convenoence of the rail station only 200 metres provides a transport option to all parts of Sydney.

We did the Royal Easter Show 2nd year we take older generation with us great position you can get a pass out of show have a rest if you need it ,would be good for young and old for this however parking is a problem.Breakfast was included coffee was luke warm out of machine.Coffee from the bar was great will be going again next year.

We stayed to attend Royal Easter Show.The TV did not work in our room and the fridge smelt shocking.The towels although clean were thin and badly stained.Very disappointing and not up to Novotel standard.To make it worse we were told they had no idea of church services in the area-although it was easter! Reception was unable to google anything and suggested we go all the way into the city.(we went to the internet ourselves and found a church 10 minutes away).As always long wait to register even though Accorr members.Staff so very slow!

"The good and the bad"

The staff at reception are very slow. We did not appreciate being charged for our car to sit out the front of the novotel due to the parking being full. Also the bar closed just as our function ended and would not budge to serve novotel customers.
