"a good citytrip hotel"

good quality/price- excellent for a 1 or 2 day trip to Paris when you just need a standardhotel to sleep and have a good breakfast. It is close to gare du nord and gare de l'Est. The metro is just next door! Breakfast until 11am with fresh orange juice !, croissants, baguette,ham, cheese in a nice colourfull breakfast room.

great hotel near the train station. friendly people, good buffet breakfast, convenient to train station for early train, and convenient to Metro line 7, right next to hotel. We have stayed there 3 times already..

Needs a lot of improvement in the room size as it is small !!! Bathrooms are decent enough !! Needs to improve on the quality of Television and the Channels which are on it as none of the channels have English movies of any kind on it as only news channels are in English !!

We booked 2 double rooms in July and was confirmed for 10th to 12th Sept.. When we were in Switzerland in 1st week of September we were advised by email that they made a mistake and the hotel was overbooked. Suggested we put up at Ibis hotel Gare Du Nord at no extra charge for the 1st night and 2nd night at All Seasons Chateau Landon. Imagine moving 4 big luggages around and some of the taxis refused to take us claiming their taxis boots are too small. when we arrived in Paris on 30th August. We had a bad start at the Immigration too. The officer asked why we are not speaking French if we were visiting France. As we do not have a laptop with us to check the hotel booking status, we just checked in on 10th Sept and we were given 2 books. Later when I use the hotel computer and read the email saying they have found a solution and they can put us up at All Seasons Chateau Landon. At the hotel lobby I overhead the conceirge telling a European lady that they are overbooked and suggested putting her up at Ibis Gare Du Nord at no extra charge and will arrange for a taxi to send her there.Obviously this problem was not solved except it was passed on to another unlucky guest.So in other words although the hotel was comfortable but I was very stressed about this overbooking and wondering whether there will be rooms for us. It really spoilt your holiday.

The hotel is close to the gare du nord and gare de l est,the room was quiet and had good air conditioning, the check in was slow it took almost 10 minutes, the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpfull.

My friend and I found the hotel to be very clean both in the room and especially the dining room with an excellent breakfast. The only problem we found was that there was no fresh milk for tea and coffee in the reception and one night the water was cold in the thermos so we were unable to have a coffee when we arrived back from out day trip out.

Hotel is very conveniently located - we stayed there as we were catching the Eurostar the next morning and it's about a 10 minute walk to the Gare du Nord. Check in and check out was quick and efficient. Rooms are very modern looking and a good size. Buffet breakfast was also very good.

This is an excellent place to be in if you are going to paris. Just 1 minute from the Metro Stattion and 3/4 minutes from Gare L'Est. If you plan to explore Paris by bus/metro you can's ask for a better location. You can walk down from Gare Du Nord also. The breakfast was superb. Over all a value for money proposition.

Everything was as advertised. Quiet, Comfortable, Excellent Breakfasts, Great Location to Subway and Trains. Rooms were clean and service was acceptable. Water in Lobby was almost empty each time we tried to get a drink. Front desk helped with directions .Elevators were smaller but never crowed. Wouuld return again.

This hotel is very well situated, directly at Gare de l'est, and 10min from Gare du Nord (direct train from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport). The hotel is good, however, 3 years ago it was completely new, and now you can see that it's not more so "clean" as it has been, the bed are tired... But the hotel is very well situated, if you get a room on the top floors, you have a nice view on Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse and Montmartre Sacré coeur. The hotel is very quiet, you can almost not hear the trains (there is not train during the night). The service is very friendly. The price we get was not cheap compare to what you get, but it's always difficult to get a perfect hotel in paris for a cheap price !
