"Two night stay in March"

We have often stayed in an Etap and so knew what to expect and for two nights it was fine. However the room layout here has the wash basin in the room, not in the shower room, which we do not like. Our local UK Etap has a room rate starting at £26 which is well below the minimum rate for this one in Fecamp.Our real concern is that, since we were the only guests on Sunday night, breakfast was not available Monday morning - although we cannot really see why. We were not charged for it.
"Traveling with children"

Good value for money and clean rooms, unfotunately the room design meant that traveling with two children requires the use of two non-conecting rooms.......not ideal. Acoustic seperating from corridor not great but exterior noise kept to a minimum.

well, i just needed a break so we jumped on the motorbikes and through the chunnel £28 return and went to normandy. etap at feccamp is not far from the centre of townso we parked the bikes and played being touristsback at the hotel which is perfectly comfortable i watched a film on tv and had a showernext morning pigged out on french bread and coffee must have had 5 coffees and at least a whole french stickbrilliant couple of days
"Adequately fulfills expectations for the price"

The standard of comfort was adequate and the hotel generally fulfills expectations given the price. These hotels are fine if your intention is only to sleep there. There are absolutely no frills and you would not wish to spend time sitting around in your room. The positioning of the TV is geared for viewing from the bed only. Generally, the hotel and rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the location is quiet. Do not expect to get into the hotel before 5pm and be prepared to use the machine-operated check-in service as the queue for manual check-in was very long. Suggest, therefore, booking on-line in advance wherever possible, which enables you to pick up your room access code automatically from the machine at the entrance. Breakfast at just under 5 euros is adequate and continental style - worth the money. Town centre is less than 5 minutes away by car.
