"When one night is not enough"

On this visit to Campbelltown I decided to book at the Ibis Budget for the four night trip.I have stayed there before only a night at a time though.The room rate was real value and the room clean, serviced daily, but without in-room tea or coffee making. The bathroom is extremely small and without easy access. The bed was nice to sleep on and the room on the third floor was quite, though there are only stairs to each floor level. There are many good eating places within two minutes walk from the motel. I will stay again when in Campbelltown when I am on a budget trip.

I have stayed at this motel before on a number of occasions but not for a few years, The last time I stayed there it was a Formule 1. When I rang to book the receptionist was unhelpful and rude. I ended up having to book on line. We arrived at 10pm, when we entered our room I found a large pile of matted hair in the shower plug hole and also 2 bobby pins on the floor of the shower. There was hair and fluff on the floor around and under our bed. Your cleaning staff are only doing half a job. It is unlikely I will return.

Wasnt happy that there wasnt at least a bar fridge as the weather was over 42oC as i brought ice cold water from home and wasnt going to go to the front dest ad use the drink machine every hour or so. In the shower/ toilet the water was going everywhere and when i got out i was dripping wet and all the water on the floor which made me slipp a few times i didnt know what to wipe it with as i nedded the towles to use for myself. I booked it for 2 nights but wanted to leave the first night but knowing i coulldnt get a refund i stayed the next night. I dont intend to stay there again but looking to stay next door at the QuestView management response »

"Budget with a smile"

The room being a budget was small compact but clean and tidy.Amenities were basic but do the job and with plenty of food outlets including Hooters right next door. I liked the price best, the noise worst but it is situated next to a busy road and a restaurant.

We travelled to Sydney from Canberra for a medical appointment in town & stayed here because of its location to the highway for traveling to/from.Reception staff are ok. Nothing too friendly but not awful either. Room was clean & tidy but the room was booked for 3 people and there were only 2 towels in the room. Additional blankets wouldn't go astray either.Good location close to numerous food outlets - perfect for us as we arrived at dinner time.Room was lovely & quiet and we all slept really well. We will stay here again simply because of food, price & location.

This is the second time that I am in a F1 hotel. The first time was in Sydney and I did not like it at all.This time I was really positive surprised, the hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms have everything that man need and are spacious too.Yes I really liked it.Alex

phone message received while travelling asking to call; not received until 45 minutes after reception closed (sent prior to this but not received as on highway) so I did not respond; another missed call discovered next morning.Upon arrival at location discovered that auto check-in was not available due to machine problem so slept in car until reception opened at 7am.Informed by reception that they were calling to advise how to enter my allocated room; maybe if the instruction had been left in the message I may have been able to access room.Most obliging when finally able to access room.Resolved to my satisfaction but could have comunicated better.

The only thing I could fault the shower recess could of done out with a really good scrub, signs of mildew in parts of recess. Other than that excellent.Bicarb soda mixed with lemon juice is a very good cleaner mixed with a bit of elbow grease.I found as soon as I walked into the room it was very appealing and inviting.
