« IBIS bad service »

3 Guests delivered by Car to unload bags and find hotel is in a narrow one-way street with chained off unloading zone. When asked to get standing pace to drop off and to unload as car was blocking traffic. Check-in staff sent us to their car park which although part of hotel is separately managed as a paid car park. Returned to Check in, all the while holding up traffic in the street and had to shout and harass the 3 ignorant staff members before they would allow us to access the chained off parking bays to unload our bags from the vehicle delivering us instead of holding up the traffic. Eventully one scary looking angry staff member came out and stood whilst we unloaded all the luggage (and came in empty handed instead of helping women with the luggage).Took forever with check in as had not used a computer before. Beds hard - Rooms small but ok for the value. Warning this area is surrounded by homeless ANGRY African & Arab groups hanging out and camping in the streets and urinating everywhere they hangout

« Feedback »

I would be nice to have some vegetables and fruits in breakfast. Also hotel should be having taxi contact details incase the customer requests to book a cab on their behalf. Please keep 3 towels, 3 soaps , three blankets when it is triple sharing room.Could not find intercom facility to talk to reception. There was no phone. Wifi signal was very weak, and not connecting always.Hotel was good except the above mentioned points.

« Extremely below any other Ibis Budget I've stayed »

Extremely below any other Ibis Budget I've stayed. The whole hotel smells cigarette, even in the room. Furnitures are definitely not appropriate to an Accor hotel. Mattress terrible where I felt the wood below it. Pillow too thin. Hotel is located in a very bad area. I did not felt safe. If you are a tourist, DO NOT STAY in this hotel. You'll feel extremely disappointed with the Accor as well as with Paris. The place where Hotel is located definitely does not represent Paris at all. Even if I had booked 7 nights with a non refundable tariff, Me and my boyfriend slept only one night and moved to other Ibis (not budget) places in Montmartre - where I have stayed in other opportunity and I thought this Ibis budget would have a similar quality.

« Clean, comfortable with helpful staff »

Very enjoyable stay - it would be improved if the re-fill food items for breakfast arrived more quickly after other people had emptied the basket/jug etc., and if the fruit salad was of better quality.

« Like a noisy youth hostel »

The hotel was full of noisy school students without supervision. The children was shouting until midnight and there was no teachers tio contact. The reception did a proper job, but a hotel with 8 floors they had no chance.

« Good and cheap hotel in a not so good area »

The hotel itself respects the Ibis budget type: small, clean, tidy, modern. But the location of this hotel is poor and I'm not talking about the fact that the motorway (Peripherique Boulevard) is literally just in front of the hotel - there is double glazed windows so you can escape the crazyness. The negative point is the fact that area is quite dirty and looks quite unsafe, especially night time. It is one of the dirtiest area of Paris I ever saw. The hotel is just between two metro stations: Porte St. Ouen (which I recommend for going into the city) and Garibaldi. Both of them are on the line 13. There are many shops (including a Lidl) when you go to the Garibaldi metro station.

« Bad hotel choice ... »

The hotel is located in a very bad area. To make matters worst the migrants are camping out not too far from the hotel, under the bridge. They are sleeping in tents and do not have proper washroom facilities. They were therefore pooing and peeing all over the streets. The city has not designated an area for them to stay therefore they are living like homeless people and begging on the streets. There is a flea market that takes place Friday to Saturday in front of the hotel. The flea market is not like the flea markets in North America. People leave the stuff they cannot sell behind, filling the streets with garbage. There is no order to the flea market, it looks like homeless people trading goods on the street. A contiki tour takes off from this hotel, so there are always people around. It is a 10 minute walking distance from the metro. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and there were burn marks all over the floors from previous guest. We took a wet paper towel to wipe the floor and the paper towel turned black. Smoking is allowed in the rooms. Other than that the towels and bed sheets were clean.

« Nice and clean hotel in not so nice surroundings »

I don't have anything really bad to tell about this budget hotel. It was cheap, personnel was OK, room was clean, the metro was like 15 minutes away, monoprix was in the same building and there was free Wi-Fi. About negatives, one lamp wasn't working, there was some problem with flushing toilet and closing window - all these are minor problems which didn't really disturb us. The real problem was the surroundings. Around the hotel on the weekends is flee market. Such shady people I didn't see often and the awful dirt they leave behind was cleaned by police and other people all week. That should definitely change. Plus was that nobody really disturbed us when we go through the crowds. To sum up I recommend it for people who want to visit the Paris' attractions and stay in hotel only to sleep.

« Cheap hotel, but still isn't worth »

This hotel is in a bad location. When you step out of the hotel, you feel as if you landed in the middle of garbage world. Have to walk through these garbage to reach the hotel. The area also makes you feel unsafe.

« Hotel budget Paris »

The hotel is cheap but comfortable. The service is simple and useful. Breakfast is good and vary. The hotel is near bus stop and underground station so in short time you can reach Montmartre. It is located in a peaceful street
