ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent transport links, good location - shame about the attitude of staff"

11th May 2012, lilybex, lilybex

Excellent transport links, good location - shame about the attitude of staff. The hotel is now a bit tired, there were cigarette burns on the furniture and some of the cleaning left a bit to be desired. However, a choice of three buses that go right into the heart of Paris, a metro v close by, in zone 2 for travel (check before forking out for a zone three pass) and a supermarket and the flea market just next door.Avoid their breakfast - a bit ratty, instead buy what you need from either the supermarket or the bakery attached to the supermarket or go into town.Difficult to get the WIFI- staff uninterested in sorting this out, which was frustrating as I was trying to complete a job application during my stay.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 3.0 out of 5 stars "no chance for guests who have to get some rest at night"

20th February 2012, Lisbon, Portugal

the quality of the stay was totally ruined by the noise in the corridors at night made by groups of young guests who would not respect the necessary silence and who were partying in the corridors.the quality of breakfast was just ok. the cost of the car park was excessive and there should be a special rate for guests of the hotel.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 4.0 out of 5 stars "metro station nearby so suitable for visiting Paris. Good value for money"

8th October 2011, Haarlem, The Netherlands

Hotel is located near the Peripherique, but in your room there is no noise, so you can sleep well. Room are small but comfortable. Good value for money. Walking distance to metro, very convenient. Area around hotel is a bit shabby but it is safe. We stayed for 2 nights. In one of our rooms no new towels were brought, allthough the old ones were taken. But that was the only negative thing. All other positive.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Very Enjoyable Trip"

13th September 2011, London, United Kingdom

My partner and I stayed at this hotel from the 4th to the 7th of September 2011 for my 21st birthday. Not knowing what the hotel was going to be like I was very Impressed, the room was very nice basic but very nice. The shower was amazing best shower I have had whilst staying in a hotel. Location was pretty good only a train ride to the city an wasnt to complicated. There was a market going on just down the street from the hotel while we were there which was good lots of cheap things and food stalls. Only thing bad I could say about the hotel was the fire alarm went off very early one morning an the room was very close to the street so got woken up one morning by car horns beeping all the time. But apart from that was an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend them and will probably be staying at E-Tap hotels around europe from now on! =)

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 5.0 out of 5 stars "good"

14th August 2011, Wien

The hotel itself is great in relation to the price. Room was really good and clean, would have expected it much worse for this little money. The ac is a little could though. The area was the only weak point, it was ok to stay there with my boyfriend, but alone as a girl I really would not recommend it, it is rather oriental feeling there than France.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 5.0 out of 5 stars "awesome"

12th August 2011, bucharest

our stay here was great. the staff were very nice and helpful and the spoke english really good, the room was wonderfull like in the photos, clean and cosy too and that you can't open the window but that doesn't count that much, it is like five minutes from the subway station and like 15 minutes from the center(by metro) . i liked everything about this hotel i will def come back again. real soon

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Location"

31st July 2011, new york

The hotel is a very good value, but the neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired.Ten blocks to the metro and the surroundings are full of garbage & debris.Maids were very nice and helpful, but the front desk, not so friendly. Probably because it is hard to get good help in this neighborhood.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Very economical"

30th July 2011, Troy, NY, USA

Economical and at that price its hard to expect more. Only 1 major complaint that washbasin was in the main room and had some smudges. 3 of us stayed in the room. Bunker was comfortable. Hotel approach from Clignancourt metro station is not that good (only the last part). St. Ouen and Garibaldi metro stations are however closer and approach is clean too.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 3.0 out of 5 stars "broken finger"

19th July 2011, Budapest

The hotel room's door broke my husband's finger. Really. It is so heavy and closes automatically that when he did not pay enough attention, his finger was broken. We spent a day and a half in the hospital. Otherwise it is usual Etap quality, although a bit too big, with 7 floors.

ETAP HOTEL Paris Porte de Montmartre (futur ibis budget): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Weekend in Paris"

19th July 2011, Burscheid

Some of the reviews we read we have been little scared what to expect, but we must say we have been positively surprised. It offered exactly what we have been looking for parking at the hotel and something which is not expensive as we anyways planned to spend most of the time outside. Hotel stuff was friendly, their english was not perfect but did tried their best and we could understand them. Rooms are small but very clean. Breakfast simple but all what was needed was there. This would be definitely our hotel on our next journey to Paris.
