"Excellent value for money"
22nd March 2012, Brussels, Belgium
Stayed just one night. It was clean, the staff was friendly. I was surprised by the new design of the rooms. The interney had fairly good quality but was fast enough. There's a metro stations nearby as well as a big shopping centre. The breakfast was standard for the Etap hotels - nice and cheap.
"Decent value hotel"

I would recommend this for budget/economy travellers. Its very close to Metro, Supermarket and Eurolines bus Terminus. The only negetive feedback is the check in time, its 12.00. If you reach early you have to wait and loose half of your day. I dont see any reason why its can't be made 9.00/10.00.
"Pleasant Stay at ETAP during our memorable trip to Paris"
25th September 2011, Lohr am Main, Germany
ETAP provided extremely good hotel facilities during our entire stay at Paris.Infact, the price we paid was very much worth of it. Though the rooms are cosy, but the new design blended it perfectly well. Not to forget, the breakfast which is too economical was a surprise package for us. Initially, we were skeptical about the hotel, but later we were too happy with all the facilities provided. However, on the day of our arrival we couldn't find the Paris city map / metro maps anywhere which would have been helpful. I think this should be improved in the coming days. Also, I would suggest that they provide another breakfast room as the queue becomes too long during the times and it takes our patience out to get the food sometimes. But this is manageable compared to the price we pay. Also, some extra cleaned towels in bathroom would be helpful too.Last but not the lease, I would surely recommend to all your folks the ETAP.

"VAlue for money"
4th September 2011
used the hotel as a sleeping base only. the rooms and the bathrooms were clean and airy and hotel staff friendly. the hotel is in the process of renovation and hence can be a bit noisy in the day time. but if you are looking to explore paris on a budget then this is it.
"For Overnight Stays Only"
4th September 2011, Cardiff, United Kingdom
The rooms are clean but very spartan. Having booked for 4 nights I had to put up with living out of a suit case as there are only 5 hangers with no where else for clothes, no air con as suggested when booking (manager claims air cool but no fans were operating to provide this) and the bed was very firm. The room was very hot but I could not leave the window open as it overlooked major roads. Coming back one night I did have an unfortunate experience which made me wary as access to the hotel from the metro involved traversing a urine smelling concrete stairwell. When I requested to cancel the booking the manager said this was not possible as I'd paid on the internet. As I'd paid the book price this would have been a big loss. In summary, if you want to stay overnight while driving, I believe this hotel is a possible choice but a leisure traveller on their own staying longer periods should be wary.
"Acceptable low-cost option for budget travellers"
5th August 2011, Sandefjord, Norway
Etap at Porte de Bagnolet is fine for travellers on a budget, or travellers with a car wanting to avoid city centre traffic. The hotel has a parking garage, is easy to access from the Périférique and is near the end station of Metro line number 3.
"Satisfied"

Good value for the money. Clean, quiet rooms, friendly staff, within a reach of public transport. Access to underground hotel parking is little complicated, have to walk around quite a bit. Would return again.
"My 4 night stay"
31st July 2011, London
My wife and I stayed here with our four childen in July 2011 on a trip to see the Paris city centre and visit Disneyland. I booked 2 triple rooms. I have rated the location as very good because I had my own vehicle and it was only 15 minutes to get to the city centre, but I am not sure what it would be like if you had to travel by Metro (underground train). The hotel rooms were very clean. It looked as though this hotel has been very recently refurbished and redecorated as all the furniture and fixtures/fittings all look brand new. The rooms had satellite TV (only one English channel; BBC World), heating, No A/C, a small shelf to put belongings on, No Tea/Coffee facilities, which was disappointing. The rooms were cleaned everyday at around 9am. The reception staff all spoke very good English and were very helpful when I asked for advice. There is a nice shopping mall just 50 yards away with a Hypermarket (closed on Sunday) which sells just about everything (Like Tesco's or Walmart). I didn't venture too far from the hotel on foot as I simply drove into the city and used the hotel just as a place to sleep. I booked room only hence cannot comment on the breakfast served. The only negative is that their underground parking is 14 Euros a night but I got round that by parking outside the hotel.I hope this review is helpful to others who may think of visiting.

"Cheap and Cheerful"
28th March 2011, London
The room was very basic, but for the price we couldn't complain. The reception was helpful. It is also close to Metro which was helpful. The only slight issue is that you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to reach the entrance, and there were always a group of people hanging out on the stairs drinking, and it smelled of urine (felt a little uncomfortable I may have not been in a secure area). But no problems were encountered.
