"airport stopover"

very handy for a stopover at Nice Airport. Basic, but very clean and adequate room and simple, but good value continental breakfast.

Seems the hotel is in the red light district with prostitutes touting for business outside. Not a place to be after dark. Also, why put a power point nowhere near a mirror - ladies have hairdryers, straighteners etc - very poor planning.

For business travelers this seems a very good hotel, located 5 min walk from the airport terminal 1, it's not expensive and has a permanent Wifi connection, the breakfast could have more offer but it's very reasonably for the price you pay, I think that if there were available more restaurants nearby would be nicer. I tried to found one open restaurant to have dinner and the only offer I had was the one in the Novotel hotel with high prices.

I always stay in ETAP hotels. They are cheap, cheerful and adequate. However, asking for a 200 word review is a bit too much. The Etap at Nice is immediately opposite Terminal 1 at Nice airport, so I can go ON FOOT with my minimal baggage in ten minutes. The staff were helpful and we had a splendid meal in the NOVOTEL which adjoins the ETAP. Good relationship between the two establishments, in my opinion.Eryl-Anne BAYLISKIDDERMINSTER, WORCS. ENGLAND
"Disgusting room!"

We've stayed in this specific Etap several times before. It was ok in the past. But we are very disappointed by our most recent stay. The first room assigned to us was not serviced at all. It was after 4 PM when we checked in, but they had not cleaned the room. We asked to get a different room. The 2nd room "looked" like it had been cleaned, but before we went to bed at night, we noticed there were some hair and sand on the bed sheets! We don't think the sheets were changed! It was late at night, and the front desk staff had left, plus we had an early flight the next morning, so we had to remove the hair and sand on our own and just spent a very restless night. The toilet did not flush well at all. You had to flush 4 or 5 times after each use. It was a very disappointing experience.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was good for a budget hotel. We parked in the nearby parking which the hotel validates and ate breakfast at the hotel too. There is enough food for everyone to find something they would eat (toast, cereal, bread and jams) and the rooms were clean enough. The hotel is quite a way from the main Nice area. While we had a car, to avoid parking issues, we got the bus in from the nearby main road, it is cheap and they run really frequently. There is also a bike rental scheme if you prefer that, which I would definitely recommend over walking which we tried one night and it took us over an hour and a half! I would stay there again though as it is cheaper than staying in the centre, with excellent transport to get you there so you don't miss anything.

A typical Etap hotel. Good location but difficult to get to if you are driving. No allocated car park - you have to usea public car park and no info provided where to park. You have gto add 8Euro to the cost ofyour stay.

Very convenient for the airport yet not at all noisy. Comfy, practical rooms and a plentiful, buffet breakfast. You have to pay extra for parking (8 euros for 24hours) but this is alongside the hotel - although finding the way out and back to the hotel on foot proved problematic!Staff somewhat charmless but efficient.

Our stay was a 1 night before heading west to Midi region. We had dinner in the sister hotel, the Novotel, next door...food was excellent and the treatment of our 2 year old daughter by the staff was outstanding!

The welcome of the staff very nice and helpful WELCOME. I stay at the hotel because of my limited finances and need to visit Nice several times this year before returning to live nearby. But unfortunately there is no regard for people staying there and to make sure they are not disturbed in the early hours of the morning when others arrive very late.This is my third sejour at Etape, Aeroport. On my second night, 5 May, a very large group pf young people from I believe an E. Europe country arrived to spend one night there very late and there was no attempt to make sure they did not disturb others trying to sleep as they were up and down in the corridors and outside the doors of other rooms talking and shouting and making sleep impossible until about 0200 hrs. During my previous stay of 3 nights in February I was disturbed by a visitor who had a loudly barking dog at night again ruining sleep. There should be some control over this and the ability to contact reception by an internal phone in the room in case they were prepared to do anything about such disturbances.I would only recommend the hotel because it is very reasonably priced and located, like the breakfast also which is very basic but obviously very cheap.

The hotel is located 100 m from the terminal of the second busiest airport in France, where local transportation to the airport is notoriously unreliable and expensive. The hotel is clean, nice and the service is good. The value for the price in a location like this is excellent, perhaps one of the best in France.

I needed to stay just right to the Nice Airport for little money and this is what I got - the hotel is even nicer compared to the money rate which I have paid using the "More than 30 days in advance" booking option and discount

We arrived by car at about 6pm and found it incredibly difficult firstly to find the hotel, and then, when we finally spotted it, to find the approach. There appeared to be a complete lack of direction signs. We drove round and round (passing three "ladies of the night" standing on the pavement close by) until we finally managed to get there. If we hadn't pre-booked we would have given up and gone elsewhere. the reception staff were cool rather than welcoming. The room was too hot and could not be cooled down as the window was locked shut and didn't have a handle. There were not enough towels or pillows for the three of us yet we were charged extra for the third occupant, which we had not expected. Altogether, it was an experience I don't want to repeat.
