"Bed bugs"

This is the first time I have been disappointed with an Accor hotel. The hotel itself is in need of renovation and my stay and subsequent days were ruined by the numerous bites I received whilst sleeping. Trusting you find this review of interest and take steps to rectify this problem.
"Dingy hell-hole"

Do not under any circumstance stay at this hotel. My room smelt of damp, the ensuite is a plastic affair in the corner of the room, the lighting fitment is a tube down the side of the bed and swathes the room in an overbright glaring hue. The carpet on the stairs(no lift) to my room was ripped, surely a safety hazard. Accor should close down and refurbish this hotel immediately. This would not be acceptable in a national hotel chain anywhere else.
"Reasonable stay"

I stayed here on 2 seperate nights. The rooms were a reasonable size with a double bed and a bunk above, a wide range of tv stations and an ensuite shower/ toilet. The breakfast buffet covered cereal/ yoghurts/ breads etc (pretty tasty chocolate chip sweet bread included). Check in was from 12 which was useful for the purposes of our trip and getting in and out was no problem. The staff were also very friendly. The first night we stayed, my room was comfortable, there were no problems and I slept well. The second time I noticed cobwebs in the corner of the room and a bit of ceiling mould. The toilet also started running and went on through the night though I think if I had mentioned it to staff it would probably have been fixed. On floor two the light outside the hotel could still be seen in the room though the curtain blocked most of this out. I would still stay here again for a similar purpose- the staff were nice, it was all very easy and it was for the most part very clean.
