"Stay in Troyes 7/8 April 2012"

We have stayed in this hotal on a number of occasions over the last 6 years. It is certainly beginning to show its age. Carpets and stairs are worn. Only two towels were supplied when there were three of us in the room. The whole hotel needs a refresh (we stayed at the Lons Le Saunier hotel on the way down - what a difference!)It's central location is a positive, but you do get traffic noise when you open the window. We noramlly sleep with the window open but could not at the is hotel. If it were in summer it would be intolerable.The most annoying thing about our stay was the fact that our key pad didn't work to get into the room and each time we had to get the manager to open the door for us (there were several other rooms that had the same problem).We would say that the young man on reception was very apologetic and tried to help as much as possible.Not a pleasureable experience.

The cost of two rooms was very good for an overnight stay on the way to the Alps - the room was more basic than I had imagined - not anywhere near Premier or Travelodge but on a par re cost. The location was in the centre of Troyes and without satnav took some finding. Everything was OK - nothing to really complain about but not to write home about either. The staff were helpful and the breakfast though basic was again OK. Would I stay again - maybe - but only when counting the pennies!

Excellent location. Value for money accommodation but felt the breakfast not as good as have had before in etap hotels. There was only cheese spread and no other portions of cheese. Good free car park.

Ideal location for visiting town centre and free car parking were you can keep an eye on your car from room. Staff could speak a little English which helps alot when you have travelled miles to get there.

the hotel was in the centre of the city of Troyes. It is clean. It is not too expensive (around 500 EUR per night). It has friendly staff. Free car parking, free internet access. All which one traveller would need.

Hotel in Troyes is situated very close to the centre of town with free parking for guests. If you want somewhere that is good value for a one night stay then the Etap Hotel is just right beds were comfortable and it was clean and tiday. Lots of good restaurants nearby and a nice boulangerie a 5 minute walk away that is open until 8pm, including on a Sunday.

Stayed here as an overnight stopover to and from South of France. The room was very simple but clean, comfortable and suitable for a short stay. Good city centre location with very convenient car park. Accor did not send us a map of Troyes showing the hotel location so finding it was a bit of a challenge for foreigners. The buffet breakfast was just adequate. There is a good choice of restaurants close by in the town centre. The medieval town centre is well worth a visit.

Met the expectations we had for a one night stop over. Good location next to downtown (by the way Troyes was a very nice surprise too,nice city deserving to be explored), surprisingly quite given the profile of the hotel. Very convenient parking lot for the car.

Very basic hotel, but clean and comfortable. Good carpark behind with easy access to rooms. Close to the historic town centre so easy access to good restaurants. Gets busy at breakfast time and you sometimes have to wait for bread supplies to be replenished. We always do a one night stop here on our way down to the South of France.
