Staff and breakfast excellent. Room basic but clean though smell of cigarettes. Bathroom ok but shower very cramped to point of being uncomfortable to use.

Noisy with disappointing breakfast

We were kept awake by an extremely noisy sports group who were not spoken to by the managers living in the nearby room. The breakfast had bitter (longtime made) COLD coffee, the cake and brioche bread was stale, the cold water and the kettle water were not replenished. In this stay, we introduced friends to Ibis Budget so were gutted by the disappointing experience. Staff were young, friendly and welcoming but need to be aware of customers’ needs.

I am sure the staff are great and the effort to keep the place clean and tidy is enormous, but the structure requires a major uplift and the guests keep smoking cigarettes in their rooms, making the place rather miserable.

I got trapped in the car park of the next door Fasthotel after hours; Ibis staff were helpful but a warning about NOT entering the Fasthotel car park would be useful because Fasthotel have zero service after their reception closes; nothing; no emergency contact, no support or assistance.

It was a great little stay with a fantastic free regular bus service into Dunkerque and easy drive to the supermarkets. The hosts were friendly and were very attentive to any requests we had. I would stay again. The room was clean and was perfect for carnival.
