We have stayed at this hotel before and like the fact that the access is easy and the hotel provides reliable good value for the price - nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate. Pets are also welcome.

When we arrived we had to use the automated system to access the room, as we entered, it was obviously a smokers room. We had to open the window get rid of the smell. I never saw any question on the automated system where I could choose between smoking or non smoking. The room was showing it's age, especially the shower/toilet area which was very scruffy. We have used Etap in the past, we used to think they were good value for money. The price seems to have increased in resent years and now seem expensive for the quality of what you get. A final positive note, the breakfast was very good value and set us up for the day ahead.
