Pullman Paris Bercy: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Overall ok hotel, but some things could be inproved"

9th March 2012, Oslo, Norway

The hotel has a nice location close to a nice little Bercy village, were different restaurants and shops could be found. It is modern and all over nice hotel. However, the bed madrasses were very hard and as to try to make it better a comforter has been added on the top, but it didn't really make it better. When the room service cleaned the room she left all dirty glasses or dishes or rests of breakfast in the room. And the try to give more tips to se if that helped did not. I have never experinced that in other hotels and didn't think that was very pleasent. Perhaps we misunderstood and were supposed to get rid of that kind of things our selfs, but somehow I expect this to happen in a 4 star hotel.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 5.0 out of 5 stars "A great retreat in a nice clean part of the city!"

25th January 2012, Shakopee, Minnesota, USA

We stayed for 3 nights. Bercy Village is a fantastic, comfortable place to stay, and the Pullman is a perfect compliment to the area. The shops and restaurants nearby are fantastic and welcoming. The hotel itself is clean and upscale, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and the bed was amazing. Great value and right off of the #14 metro line (the nicest of all metro lines in Paris) making it quick and easy to hop on and go for the day.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice Hotel, Needs to Improve Breakfast"

14th August 2011, San Francisco

I have stayed here before. I like this hotel. The best thing about the place is the staff; they all seem friendly and very helpful and go out of their way to provide excellent service. The location is good, next to Bercy Village with the restaurants there and ATM. The Metro station are Coeur St Emillion makes it very easy to get anywhere in Paris. The rooms are rather basic for a business hotel and the carpet and furniture is looking a bit dated int the rooms, although the public areas look great. I think the floor I stayed on came from Sofitel days because it does not look like you are in a Pullman. Worn blue carpet. Unfortunately the amenities in the rooms are not up to a world class business hotel standard like you would get from Hilton, Marriott or Westin or Hyatt. There are disposable plastic glasses and paper coffee cups provided in the rooms, with the others mentioned you would get real glasses and real coffee cups. This sub-standard level of amenities follows over to the towels in the bathroom, which are thin, basically Novotel towels. The other hotel brands listed would provide not only thicker towels but more. This Pullman gives you two towels. The soap amenity kit is, on the other hand, very nice, and quite incongruous with the cheap towels. The other problem with this hotel is the very poor quality of the breakfast, for which I think they charge 22 Euro. The breakfast here offers limited fruit, poor stale pastries, only a couple of juice choices, very bad powered scrambled eggs. If I were them I would be embarrassed to serve what they offer in comparison to other major brands. I do find this to be an issue in France and Paris in general however, most hotels there serve very bad breakfasts. I think the management needs to get over to Asia, Middle East, or North America and see what real breakfasts are if they intend to serve global clients. I travel worldwide every month so I have some perspective, if you overlook the breakfast and tired looking rooms this is a nice place to stay. But they could easily fix the breakfasts, the rooms would some investment.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Disappointed"

28th June 2011, Vichy

Delighted to find a hotel available supposedly close to bercy station however a 15 min walk in the pouring rain with suitcases and stairs to negotiate is not what I call close by. The hotel supposedly in the upper ranges of Accor group was very disappointing; room was basic and small, hall dirty and the bar was almost a continuation of the reception. Only good point was the staff who were helpful and courteous to a weary traveller.

Management responseDear Guest, We are sincerely sorry for the misunderstanding about the closest metro station. Cour St Emilion is the one: only 5mn walking distance from the hotel, without any stairs to reach it. We are sorry you did not enjoy our decoration. Indeed, the bar is located in the lobby, with a welcoming atmosphere, next to the patio. The entire team joins me to thank you for having taken the time to write on Tripadvisor and for your comments. Best regards

Pullman Paris Bercy: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great hotel"

17th June 2011, Wyoming,On N0N 1T0

We were ending an Insight Tour and decided to stay in Paris for an extra day before returning home. The underground is close by and easily accessible, except for pickpockets, There are several dining establishments in the area other than the Hotel to experience the Paris experience. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel certainly met our expectations.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 4.0 out of 5 stars "American quality of service in Paris"

24th April 2011, Boston

Have stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. The first nice feature is that the cab drivers know its location, so no more of searching for kind of "Grand hotel" comprising just some 10 guest rooms. No, we have about 400 spacious rooms in these 10-story property. The hotel is decorated with modern design in mind, which is probably different from traditional French, yet very stylish. Our room had a clever design, with a "facility area" (entrance, bathroom and closet) being separated from the main room with a door. The bathroom is spacious even by an American standard. The bathtub is long and deep, and the shower is fully adjustable with a good water pressure. The room is also spacious, good-quality bed with European-style comforter, work desk, small fridge with water (2 free bottles daily) and enough free space to keep some yogurt and fruit if you wish. The breakfast includes a variety of meats, potatoes, chicken, fried tomatoes, muesli, 2-3 juices, pastries, yogurts, jams, fruit. With regard to the service, the staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and spoke reasonable English.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good choice"

22nd March 2011, Scarborough

Very efficient check in. Facilities just what we needed for our stay - all day cafe as we wanted flexible meal times. Breakfast choice is good and great value. Found all staff to be helpful and service prompt in cafe/bar/room service.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great place to stay"

23rd February 2011, Manchester

Lovely hotel. Ideal for a stay a little out of the city centre. The metro stop is on your doorstep so everything is easily reached.

Pullman Paris Bercy: 4.0 out of 5 stars "hotel stay's experience"

30th December 2010, singapore

generally, this is a well managed hotel, check in was quickl, good location near to subway system, fairly easy to get around. Hotel facility are adequate, staff are generally friendly especially manager for morning breakfast. However, the hotel have fairly limited choice for food especially dinner. Do not get a feeling there is any thing special for being an a-club platinum member.

Excellent value for money. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, although I found the lights to be rather dim.Free internet connection is a big plus as this allows us to stay connected with family back home.
