ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great for what we wanted"

16th February 2013, G7808, Newtown, United Kingdom

Went to Paris as my husband had a ticket for a Six Nations match. Wanted a hotel fairly easy to get to both the Stade de France and in to central Paris and it was certainly that. Lots if building work going on around the hotel and a bit of an odd approach but couldn't hear the work once inside the hotel. Small room without drink facilities, fridge etc but clean, tidy, warm, shower ok and beds were comfy with extra pillows. Had food in the le Table restaurnat in the hotel both for breakfast and an evening meal and good food, fairly priced and of enough quantity. Menu a bit restricted though. Staff friendly and helpful. Used the pool with my 2 year old. Just 5 euros for the two of us and no time restrictions except those of the pool opening hours. There is a park in process of development by the hotel but great for running off steam for children as plenty of paths and childrens play equipment for different ages. Plenty of choice for restaurants on the main street and a only a 5 minute walk to the metro station.

Only draw back size of the room, had to step over the case to get around, but was not a problem when your out all day, Hotel staff very helpfull, A lift from the car park straight into the lobby area makes life easy when you have your cases with you.

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 4.0 out of 5 stars "very good choice for business trip"

25th January 2013, dim32008, Athens, Greece

it is a very good choice if you want a place to crash after a hard days night.I'd like some more space in my room (i had to lift my very heavy luggage over the bed to enter)but it was clean and quiet and the bed was REALLY nice. It's very close to the metro station so you can go any were in Paris easylly(except rush hour).Generally you get what you pay for and i will visit again.

20th November 2012, Ihatechoosescreename, Hsinchu, Taiwan

The entrance was hard to find, but good location in general. Room was small (probably similar to most rooms in Paris under that price), cannot store your luggage at the hotel for free after check-out, locker was 5 Euro per use, free wifi. Everybody at the front desk was very nice, which made my stay enjoyable. :-)

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 1.0 out of 5 stars "rooms to hot to sleep in."

7th November 2012, petersuy

Room had a temperature of 25°. Even with the heating turned of . Opening your window on the side where we had rooms is not possible due to the sounds of the trainstation and traffic noise. When i asked for a fan i was treated like a moron who could not turn his heating off. Not pleasant.

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Another good night at Berthier Clichy"

23rd October 2012, bury st edmunds

We first stayed here in June on our return to the UK and liked it so much we decided to come this way again. Once again the facilities were superb, the staff punctilious and the food really good. The hotel is busy and cosmopolitan being well placed for the central Paris attractions and Clichy has a busy urban feel about it and it abounds with superb restaurants that genuine Parisians dine at. We would recommend La Bonne Huerre which is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We shall certainly be staying there again and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

nice hotel, metro close by, in montmatre which is a bonus. Pool to small to swim in and there is a 5 euro charge to use leisure facilities. complimentary wifi in room if you have technology. Does the job and cheaper than many others

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 2.0 out of 5 stars "NOT worth it"

17th October 2012, Brasilia, Brazil

Awful location, it was overcrowded, typical French attitude of the staff and expensive. I would not stay there again. P.s. the room was extremely small, as small as a F1 Hotel. That God bless Brazil and Canada. :)

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Cheap stay in Paris"

30th August 2012, Kisgyopar, Budapest, Hungary

The rooms are smaller than in other Ibis hotels, but I heard that is normal for Paris. Room was air conditioned which we liked alot. Breakfast was ok, but we expected a better selection of cheeses as well as fresh fruits. The staff at the front desk was nice and helpful, however the staff members at breakfast seemed bored and never smiled. The hotel has a pool but we never got to use it due to being open early morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, however during those hours we were out in town, sightseeing. I would have loved to use the pool in the evening, to relax after a long day in the city. At departure we left the luggage in a locker which was very good, however the front desk staff should have advised us that the locker operates with coins, so we were prepared with change and not having to make two trips to level -4. There is lots of construction works going on around the hotel, but we asked at check-in for a quieter room and we were given one (Ahmed was helpful) that did not look over the construction site, so we had no noise trouble. Also, we were out of the room most of the day and in the evening was quiet. Overall, it was about what we expected from Ibis, but it was not the best Ibis we have been to. It was clean and a fair amount of walking to the metro, so it was good for what we wanted.

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great hote"

27th August 2012, Kelly M, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I love it. It's on the outer edge of Paris, but the metro is within walking distance. The staff are amazing and sooo nice! I recommend this hotel to anyone I know going to Paris. (I was lucky enough time time to get a room with a view of the eiffel tower... the light show at night was great!)

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great hotel in the middle of a building site!"

19th August 2012, AnonBushey, Bushey

Stayed with my husband and son for one night. Knew the area isn't a great area but appears to be undergoing a major redevelopment; hotel is right in the middle of it all. Were rather concerned that the hotel might not be fully built as we drove towards it off the road (!) but were extremely pleased to see is a brand new fully built hotel with several restaurants/bars and excellent facilities for all. Particularly impressed with the room, which had a view of the Eiffel Tower (through various cranes!) and, also, the fact that our son had his own "room" with bed off our room, separating his/our space a bit more than the traditional hotel set-up. Would recommend hotel as great value for money. Little tip ... Use the coffee and drink machines, rather than the bar; it's a much cheaper option! Swimming pool is really lovely but had to pay 5E per person to use it (didn't know about this when we booked :-( ) Also parking is extortionate but we had no choice as had our car and needed to leave it somewhere safe. Would advise anyone travelling to Paris to park their car and use the Metro as we did; it's a much safer option than wrestling with Parisien drivers in the city. Overall, we were very happy and would consider using it again, despite the not-so-nice location.

ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Great Hotel - Pity about the service"

Great hotel with good facilities, at a very convenient location for the Metro. Unfortunately the reception staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful.

Ibis uses to be a very good option. This one, good location, close to the metro station. I'd highly recommend it
