Do Not Stay. Only positive is the location The staff are rude and not helpful. We had a room with no aircon, fan or window that could be opened when complained I was told they have no fans and don’t turn the aircon on because it isn’t hot enough? It’s was 26 degrees! I think that’s warm enough to at least have a window. Later we went to complain again the night team lady was so rude rolling her eyes saying there was nothing she could do without even trying to help us. The room was physically too warm to stand in without sweating let alone sleep in . Finally what I believe was the manager found us a room we could move to with a window, which was nice however now the room was 1/2 the size and was to the front of the building where the staff allow individuals to be shouting and screaming all night but no point complaining again they are useless. The first room had one plug socket the second had two however couldn’t use 2 EU plugs together because of how close they are.Then on our last morning the cleaner decided to let herself in although check out isn’t till 12 then slams the door on her way out. This place is awful they should be embarrassed

I was debating about giving the hotel a 4 but opted for a 3 instead for the following reasons: Curtains had small holes in them, looked like moth bites or cigarette burns The bathroom was quite dark, although spotless I found the lighting a bit dull The tv is useless/they should just get rid of them, it’s old and outdated and takes up a lot of space in the room However, the hotel was spotless, check out efficient (shove ur key in the box) It’s in a good area. We felt safe walking around and the nearby Canadian restaurant was lovely! It was very busy when we stayed so the lifts could be slow for those on higher floors. Overall a very walkable hotel for the champs Elyse if you don’t mind a 45 min or so walk. There’s lovely bars and restaurants en route into the city centre

Unfortunately, many guests (about half of the group!) had a lot to say about the hotel. We received the following points of criticism: Some guests were given a room with a renovated bathroom, while others were given a very old bathroom that was in need of renovation. This was met with incomprehension by many guests. Many of the joints in the old bathrooms were moldy. In some rooms, the hairdryer did not work and there were no toilet brushes. There was also criticism that only one towel was provided per person. Normally two towels are provided. The cleanliness of the rooms was also unsatisfactory in some cases. The water was only cold to lukewarm in many rooms. We are honestly surprised by the many bad reviews, as we had expected the hotel to have been completely renovated. We had already written when the contract was drawn up that it is very important to us that all our guests get renovated rooms, as this had already led to a lot of complaints during our trip two years ago. We are therefore disappointed that some of our guests did not receive a renovated room! We urge you to take these points of criticism seriously so that guests on future trips no longer have any reason to complain.
