"A quiet, pretty and quite clean hotel."
16th May 2012, Athina_sdr, Thessaloniki, Greece
I stayed at Ibis Birmingham Bordesley for one day. The hotel seems to be new with a very fresh design and it is located not far from the centre. The rooms are big, comfortable and quite clean. However, I thought that the breakfast was relatively poor for its price. I would choose to stay again at this hotel in the future.

"A GOOD NIGHT AWAY FROM HOME"
21st April 2012, timrosstaylor, Sheffield, United Kingdom
The hotel is situated close to where my meeting was held. l arrived late on the Monday night. There was a place to park my car and a security gaurd on the entrance who welcomed me in. l was booked in very quickly and went straight to the room. lt was a double with a good bathroom pod. It was clean and warmed up quickly. l fell to sleep watching a bit of TV. After a good night sleep and a shower to wake me up, l went down for breakfast, a really good selection of food and as much as you wanted (once l'd found the bacon as it was tucked away behiond a wall - perhaps a sign on the wall to say it was there may help) l booked out a thoroughly happy chappyprepared for the day ahead.

"Concert Trip"

Nice hotel, very helpful staff although out of the city center by about 1.5miles this Ibis hotel has parking on site free while the other do not and involve paying over £22 in NCP car parks etc. So with this hotel being much cheaper per room and the breakfast half the price of it's sister hotels in the same city when we were booking it made far more sense to book here. We paid £78 for two rooms for 4 people with Breakfast here where as we would of paid £142 at the Ibis hotel's closer to the city and Taxi's were less than £6 each way.

"Just dont"
11th February 2012, Simon1876, Liverpool
Staff can't cope, keys don't work, showers run from cold to scalding. Can't get a drink, security wont let you in, unless Birmingham City are playing then the whole of the West Mids is in. Spend more, do better

"Poor Customer Service and room tidiness."
25th January 2012
First issue:The first day the hand basin was not working properly; as the drain was blocked with what it appeared to be vomit from a previous guest. This was reported immediately and I was promised a prompt solution, which never happened.Second Issue:At night I called the front desk and requested a Wake-up call at 8am, which at the following day, I never received. There is a proper lack of communication amongst the hotel personnel, as my first request was not taken into account by the second shift and the same thing happened with the wake-up call request which again never happened, as the morning staff had no idea about my previous night request.

"OK For a work stay and close to city centre"
27th August 2011, Troy25_2520, Oxford, United Kingdom
This is an OK hotel for working on the west side of Birmingham parking is good and 24 hour reception. Seems to be A LOT OF PEOPLE HANGING AROUND THE HOTEL IN THE SECURE AREA BY THE DOORS AND IN RECEPTION WHO ARE NOT STAYING THERE!!!! Did I also spot a few "working girls" ?

"Good Quality"
15th July 2011, oldham
The rooms are generally very clean. The staff are helpful and pleasant. I did have a problem with the internet connection and the keyboard to operate it, and although staff were indeed helpful, with all the messing about, I was disappointed to have been charged for my 45 min use.Overall, recommended and I will be going back

"Functional and comfortable"
27th May 2011, Southend on Sea
The Ibis Bordesley is a functional, comfortable, budget hotel that is a 10 minute bus ride outside the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and basic, the bed gave a really good nights sleep (Moreso than my one at home, surprisingly!). There's not much of a view, but for a room to grab a shower and get your head down does it really matter? Only one thing to bear in mind - Bordesley Centro station is only open on match days - this isn't made abundantly clear on the website, nor at Network West Midlands stations. Buses to Bordesley circus are plentiful and run reasonably late though. All in all, a good spend of £27.50.

"Stay at budget hotel"
17th May 2011, ballingarry
Quality at a reasonable price in a good location with access to the motorway.Rooms of good size; friendly staff; breakfast with variety of food. One very small criticism - coffee at breakfast from machine is too weak.A good nights sleep whilst on the road.

"A great cheap break!"
2nd May 2011, Watford
The room was spacious and well equipped. Very clean and close to the town centre. The only negative was that the bed was slightly too hard for my liking and there was only 1 spare pillow in our double room! Altogether a good hotel for the price.

"Stay at this hotel"
20th April 2011, glynisWestSussex, west sussex
Although the hotel was clean I feel since the last time I stayed here probably 12 months ago it has very much become a hotel full of workmen and contractors. Staff could be trained more as very lax and inexperienced. Food in the restaurant was not very hot.The rooms are small and very noisy.
