ibis London Thurrock M25: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Lowestoft Town FC travelling support"

10th May 2012, TrawlerboyGandalf, Lowestoft, United Kingdom

Friendly and efficient welcome. Room clean and comfortable. Baked potato for supper in the bar was good value (under £5), followed by a game of pool (£1) and checking the internet on the pay terminal in the foyer (£1 for 20 minutes). No complaints.

ibis London Thurrock M25: 2.0 out of 5 stars "poor service & experience"

12th April 2012, west thurrock

i have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and this is the first time i have experienced such a poor all round stay.was originally given a room that had not been cleaned, given alternative when returning later that evening i found someone else in my room with my luggage still in it, apparently no one had bothered to update the system? i was then put back in original room, key wouldn't work properly, had no tv remote so was unable to operate tv, took them 20 minutes to sort that out.would hesitate to use again, but is ideally located for me, so probably would.

ibis London Thurrock M25: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Just Ok"

27th January 2012, Cambridgeshire

We had a complaint about room service which wasn't resolved till we left. Quite disappointing experience. The room was good enough but the bed wasn't so comfy. The location is a bit hidden but no bad though.Amenities were good enough.I enjoyed watching live football at the bar most and not getting a resolution to our complaint least.

ibis London Thurrock M25: 3.0 out of 5 stars "not a good stay...."

23rd January 2012, London, United Kingdom

usually ok, but the front of house staff are useless in a crisis. i was woken at 3am to someone hammering on someone elses door. It turns out two vans were set on fire which i discovered in the morning was15ft from my car. i asked to see the manager the following night as i was obviously concerned for my car and as a solo female traveller. she never contacted me. there was no communication to say what had happened (arson? user error?) and now i am there again for a couple more weeks and frankly very worried. i raised my concerns on checkout again to the lady on reception (thurs morning) who just kept smiling and obviously had very poor understanding of the english language. very poor ibis, very poor

ibis London Thurrock M25: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good Hotel and location but beds very uncomfortable"

13th September 2011, Warrington, United Kingdom

This hotel is in a good location for Thurrock, there was no noise from the motorway even thought it was outside my window, bar/restaurant were convenient and good value.Rooms ok but the bed was so uncomfatable (very hard) that I got very liitle sleep, I did tell the receptionist but they seemed a bit non plussed and said all Ibis hotels were the same which prompts me to never stop at one again

ibis London Thurrock M25: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Review of Ibis M25 Thurrock."

3rd September 2011, SanantoneChiangMai, Chiang Mai

The Ibis is mostly used by tradesmen though its handy for London there seems to be a lot of coaches. The rooms are clean & adequate for their purpose. The bar is good the beer is cold, the food is good though the ser.vice can be slow. Breakfast is good & every person gets a daily newspaper. Its a good hotel for a couple of days but nothing long term.

ibis London Thurrock M25: 3.0 out of 5 stars "IBIS at west thurrock"

5th August 2011, Peterborough

The Ibis hotel is OK and I am a business user who stays regularly 2 nights a week. If you get a room for the right price then its OK & it is one of the cheapest places to stay in the area but if I could get a travel lodge for the price I was paying in Wolverhampton I would just as likely stay at one of those.

ibis London Thurrock M25: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Our stay at the Ibis West Thurrock"

17th July 2011

My Grandaughter and I stayed here for 6 days, and everything was fine, except for the noise from the motorway, which runs right next door to the hotel, and it kept us awake most nights. Other than that the service and the staff were perfect.

Good value place to stay room was clean and comfortable,we usually stay at the formule 1 next door so this was a step up for only an extra tenner, but the restaurant wasn't great service was poor and the food disappointing my advice look around for food there is plenty to choose from,

ibis London Thurrock M25: 3.0 out of 5 stars "OveRnight stay"

28th June 2011, Swansea S Wales

A good hotel I would use again, only down side is it's location it seemed quite dour below the M25 (if it had been built higher up the road to the motorway it would have given it an airier and lighter outlook). but the weather did not help. It is very usefull for the M25. On the whole good value, and dog friendly.
