"Proposing in Paris"
10th May 2012
The Mercure Paris Centre (literally 500 yards from the Eiffel Tower) is a very good hotel. Front of house staff are attentive and helpful, baggage storage bloke is quick and efficient, rooms are cleaned well and cleaners are very polite and non-intrusive. I would recommend this hotel to couples and those wanting to access Paris from a close-by train/tube station.
"Great service & hospitality"

Although we only stayed for one night, the hotel offered us extraordinary service and hospitality. We will definitely be back.
"FAMILY DREAM TO SEE PARIS"
15th April 2012, Manila, Philippines
We arrive mid morning at the hotel from a long flight almost close to a day with connecting flights from bangkok to paris. As expected , the room is still not ready however the girl in the reception is not as friendly as we want to. Finally got the room around 1:30pm, room is of modern design & clean. as it goes there is an espresso machine but unluckily not in good working condition, no matter we ask for a change it is still the same, quality is not good.Requesting for hot water alone is hard as well, we have to get our own at the lounge for our quick convenient. Hotel personnel are not friendly as it should be except for monsieur bruno of the concierge, who gave an extra mile.Hope the hotel management can take a look at this because the hotel had a nice viscinity to the eiffel tower.

Clean and well presented hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, accommodating for children and friendly staff who understand families with small children.
"Excellent location - very average service"
10th April 2012, Merthyr Tydfil, United Kingdom
Service was poor - problems in room - mini bar not filled correctly, not replaced on second day (mini bar was free as part of Privilege room). Problems with asking for things, then having to ask again and then not getting what you asked for!We stayed in a Novotel in Marne La Valle (just before Disney Land) - we paid a quarter of the price with a much better experience than the Mercure. Now, putting aside the service, the hotel is perfectly situated within stones throw of the Eiffel Tower and I would still recommend using this as your base if you can afford it. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was okay.
"LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION"
13th March 2012, Hereford, United Kingdom
Literally one block from the Tour Eiffell, a modern refurbished hotel.Good breakfast at a reasonable price.Free WiFi although a little slow and annoyingly you had to keep re-connecting, there was a paid version so I guess they have to justify the difference.Staff, good multilingual skills.I stayed in the superior rooms which were nice, seperate shower and toilet, but no tub. Weirdly no desk at all, but i guess this is marketed at the tourist traveller.location for metro fantastic. I paid Euro 175 which for Paris and the location was okay
"good hotel and perfect location"
26th February 2012
Recommended for Paris, very near to Eiffel tower and to a metro station. Very good breakfast, service.Rooms correct, silent. However no great view.Private parking available (not cheap) but secure.
"Nice!"
16th February 2012, Sorocaba, Brazil
The hotel is very well located and have nice rooms. Hot coffee ant tea available inside the room. Free internet access inside the room. Prices are reasonables (good cost / benefit). It was a very good choice and I really recommend this hotel.
"Weekend in Paris"
25th January 2012, London, United Kingdom
Excellent hotel, excellent location and an excellent weekend. The only minor downside was the inadvertent lack of attention to detail whilst checking in (key only valid for one night instead of three and didnt open an account to cover expenses). Other than that, the room was very clean and comfortable which meant a good night's sleep.
"Excellent Holiday"
20th October 2011
The hotel was excellent.....the location most beautiful spot near the tower. The reciepinist was most helpful and polite. Some how the service was not too good in Bar....I stopped going after the first day unfortunitly! Also; the breakfast is not that good....not many choices!
"Not Four Star"
11th October 2011, Sydney, Australia
This hotel is 3 star at best. We were traveling with our 13 year old daughter sleeping on an extra bed in our room. The first night it took four requests to reception and until 1030 at night before we were provided with a doona for the extra bed. Tea and coffee supplies included paper cups which were not replenished and an extra not provided. Room servicing left a lot to be desired. Bed was very soft and hammocky. Good location but in pretty bad condition and one lift out of service for the duration of our stay.Give it 3 stars at best.
"Not good at al"
29th September 2011, gillod, barcelona
460 Euros for 2 nights for a small room which had obviously not been re-decorated for years, with dirty walls and large bits of veneer missing from the bathroom door. Single beds were too small. Breakfast (which we did not take) was Euros 20 p.p. We chose this hotel to be near friends staying nearby, sadly. During our walk around the city, we saw numerous small hotels that were about the same price but a world away from this hotel.
"At the foot of La Tour Eiffel"
17th September 2011, Montoire-sur-le-Loir, France
Never been in any hotel where ALL the employees were so accomadating, cheerful and pleasant at every level. The full breakfast while seeming a bit pricey at 19.50 euros was super and included the best scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage and ,ore and more. We found that it helped us set sail for an active day in Paris. Even better we saved the cost of lunch since breakfast was such a grand repast. They offer some rooms with breakfast included with a special rate, so check out the offers. We ate an after the theatre supper in the bar-lounge that was very tasty with a bottle of Chateauneuf de Pape 2009 that was exsquisite
"terrible"
1st September 2011, Embro
The website lists this as a 4 star hotel with air conditioning and the price is reflected as such. The lobby is beautiful. Apparently some rooms are of 4 star quality according to the head of house keeping, but not the wing we were in. There were cracks in the plaster stains on the carpet, one room smelled terrible and the other the AC did not work. We did not stay and when we went to the desk to tell them they would not let us go and argued about us paying them for day use of the room at $140 per room. They would graciously only charge us $140 for one room! No way. I would not recommend this place at all or go back.
"Great hotel near the Eiffel Tower"
7th August 2011, st louis
Great, great location, just a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. Great breakfast at the hotel with hot and cold items. Beds were very comfortable and hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would be happy to stay here again.

The Service is goodthe Hotel has to be renovated in the next time (wallpapers on the floors)The rooms are pervect, but the mattress of the bed are end of life, and had to be replaced One major negativ point if you come by car there are only restricted parking places (but this is often in hotels in the middle of a town)
