"Friday night stay"

A very lovely hotel situated in the heart of the CBD. Very clean and modern hotel with a view of the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and departure. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Hamilton.

"Great central hotel"

Central location, on site parking and Novotel's usual high standards on all fronts make this the perfect hotel for a stay in Hamilton. When we stayed there was a fridge recall but we were warned in advance and staff happily froze ice blocks for us to swap in cycles to keep our cool bag A1. Short drive to Hamilton Gardens (visit highly recommended) and Waipa Delta riverboat cruises, riverside walks, restaurants, shops etc all quite literally on the doorstep. Drove to Waitomo Caves with ease. Staff all polite and ultra helpful.

The Novotel Tainui was an excellent choice for our stay in Hamilton; the rooms well prepared and comfortable, the services (except public Internet access in lobby area) excellent, and the staff very helpful.

"Grumpy Staff"

Most of the staff seem to be upset and not very approachable, they seemed to not want to be there. We stay at Accor hotels all across NZ on avg 30 nights a year and this hotel has by far the the least helpful and friendly staff in the country

"Long Weekend Break"

Could not find fault with anything. Handy to shops and restaurants and casino. Offered good value breakfasts. Only thing was you have to pay for valet parking. Staff were friendly and obliging. Everything at your fingertips though

"Always good"

Always a good place to stay. Just a little disappointed this time, they had us down on wrong date to start but quickly changed. No fridge in room, bar snacks not complete, cracked glass in bathroom, which all the above was reported to front desk but not attendend to. then found frayed towels in bathroom. Altogether not acceptable.It won't put us off staying again. Always friendly staff.
