I once again had the pleasure to stay at the Pullman Hotel in Sao Paulo for 4 days. If I had any negative at all, it would be the size of the pool is too small and it was too cool to use it while I was there. Everyone from the reception to the house cleaning are always helpful with whatever you need. I was really surprised when I asked for a late checkout and without even giving my room number, I was called by name. This was only the second time I had been at the desk. Rooms are clean and well maintained and beds are very comfortable. Pullman is 5 star all the way in my book.View management response »

This has got to be the best birthday stay aboard that I have in recent years. Before my trip, I had emailed the hotel and received prompt reply including a confirmed upgrade due to my birthday and my LeClub Accorhotels Platinum membership.When I checked in to the hotel, I was greeted by the most amazing smile of all Front office staff in my hotel stays to date. Larissa, a Welcomer is easily one of the most terrific staff this hotel have, and they do indeed have many outstanding staff too. She gave me a detailed brief of the functions of the hotel and was extremely helpful in answering my queries on touristy spots to go and gave suggestions. This hotel decor is very nice, certainly worthy of a 5-star status. Was given an Executive Room with Nespresso machine though it doesn't come with a bathtub (only Suite category has one). They just kept feeding me with chocolates from one placed on the bed when I walked in, to receiving another one with a welcome card 5 mins after checking into the room and the same night, I received a chocolate cake with a Pullman passport case as gift for my birthday!In the bathroom area, they provide you with 2 pairs (different sizes) of room slippers, very much like the well-loved Brazilian staple, Havaianas, except its a Pullman brand of slippers and you can bring it home! iPhone dock stereo is available for usage as well.The only downside I could think of are minor, such that if only they can redesign the shower as drainage is done slowly through an outlet in the middle of the shower area and water fills up pretty fast from the rain shower and you are pretty much standing in a big puddle of water till you step out of the shower area. The toilet flush is slow too, having to depress and hold the button for 3-5 seconds before it work properly. Equipment generally works well except for one instance when I cannot access the Menu page of the hotel system. Housekeeping did not replenish the used capsules of Nespresso or change the water of the machine and also did not replenish the complimentary bottles of water in the cupboard but these issues were quickly rectified after calling the Welcome desk. Location was good, a 15-20 min walk to the Ibirapuera Park, the Central Park of South America, other places were easily accessibly by taxi as the nearest metro stop is 20 mins by foot. Breakfast was pricey but of decent value. Dinner was exquisite and I love it so much I eat there for 2 nights! This is a MUST STAY hotel in Sao Paulo!View management response »

Stayed one night on business. Absolutely brilliant. Newly refurbished, style, class, elegance, and internal architecture of the refurbishment to be proud of. Restaurant great, Breakfast table exceptional. Will not consider staying elsewhere, during my next stay in Sao Paulo. And looking forward to going down again. Not the most inexpensive hotel in town, but well worth spending the extra $.View management response »

Great Hotel, I stayed here because I will be living around the corner so I chose for convenience. Staff is great especially the bell captain, he can help you get anywhere. The park view is very nice but the hotel is out of the way of the beaten path, not too many restaurants around here. If your interest is the park and the museums this is your location. Tip most cab drivers don't know about the hotel because it recently changed names this hotel used to be a Grand Mercury so always tell the cab driver the name and tell them to take the Tutoia exit from the 23 de Mayo avenue.View management response »
