Clean, good service, friendly staff, ready to help, unbeatable location, very centrally located yet very quiet. 5 minutes to walk to Grand place, 10 minutes to walk to Central Station, good beds and spotless room and toilet and bathroom. Very good breakfast, plenty choice of hot food and all other breakfast stuff.Would recommend.

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The location is perfect. I can walk to the city center within 5 min. The metro station is only 1 block away from the hotel. The service is excellent. The staff is really helpful. They help me to print my boarding pass at once without any charge. For the price, I booked it 1 month before my stay at EUR 49.5 per night because there was a 50% off offer. The walk-in price is EUR 255 per night which surprised me a lot. I would not have booked this hotel if I have to pay the full price. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Couldn't believe how quiet our rooms was until I took a look at how thick the windows were. Fantastic night's sleep. Small but clean room with everything we'd need save an iron. Staff was helpful, bar was fun, breakfast buffet was phenomenal. The location wasn't the greatest but two or three blocks away from good spots. Beds were very comfy.Nice hotel!
"Credit Card Charge Issues"

I booked a room online and asked for the TOTAL rate which was 31 euros less than the online quoted price. When I checked out and paid the bill, I was only given a credit of 31 euros not refunded the difference. The likelyness that I will be able to use the 31 euros credit is slim so in fact I was not given the TOTAL rate at all.

Great hotel, swimming pool a little cold, a warmer whirlpool would be nicer ;-) Breakfast was good value. Situation of the hotel is perfect, close to shops, restaurants, touristic area's. Room was good size, nice bathroom, but small toilet.

I had booked and paid for the Novotel Centre Tour Noire and was annoyed when I learned that the room I had booked has a fold-out bed. For over 200 dollars a night, I thought it ridiculous. I began to deal with Muriel, the front desk manager from that point onwards. And I'd like to pause here and say that this woman delivered SUPREME customer service. Upon arriving at the hotel, I had found that she had upgraded my booking to a duplex suite on the executive floor. Very nice of her.A few things to note about this particular Novotel:1. This novotel charged 200 euros to my card upon check-in for 'extras'. I had not experienced this before and so was not prepared for it. If your credit card is Belgian, it will take 5 business days to be returned to you. (You can however pay your extras hotel bill from that deposit).2. This novotel does not have twin beds. They have double beds and sofabeds. I know. I don't get it either.I had a pleasant stay at the Novotel Centre Tour Noire overall. Everyone was friendly, and the hotel was very conveniently located. The De Brouckere subway station was literally one minute's walk from the hotel. The breakfast was not as extensive as some of the other Novotels I've been to but it was fine nevertheless. However, my most memorable experience with this hotel will always be the wonderful service I received from Muriel. If you ever deal with anyone at that hotel, she's the one to speak to.

Everything was perfect for us. We have relatives in Brussels and we were every day invited so we did not have the opportunity to use all the special facilities offered. We would highly recommend the hotel to our friends.

2 minutes walk form the main square...cleaning of rooms very good...reception very helpfull and friendly....AMAZING...internet connection very good....you are near the center, all the malls and shops are there....you can easily find a pub around....in the hotel everything was good...service, location , cleaning, spa...if i will go agian to Brussels it would be the same choice...

Very nice hotel. Good atmosphere. Seems recently renewed interior. Stylish, mordern and cosy room. Although in city center, very good accessable by car. Good isolation for traffic noices etc. Really comfortable beds.

A comfortless establishment: plywood and plastic. Our 'superior' room was like a monastic cell: no table, no armchairs,no drawers, mostly just wasted space. The extractor fans in the shower room and the lavatory did not work. Buffet breakfast costs 20 euros. As there are no trays, one has to make four or five visits (scrums!) for food and coffee; this does not make for a pleasant breakfast experience. The dinner menu is limited, but the food was surprisingly good.

I've enjoyed hotel excellent location in the heart of down-town.The staff are very freindly & helpful.Facitiies include: wi-fi internet, wide rooms.Also the fitness center is very good...but opening hours would be better if it started from 6:00 am not 7:00.
