"Could do better!"
21st March 2012, Albufeira, Portugal
Hotel is in a good location for me, just 5 minutes walk from metro and buses to/from city centre and airport. Room was very hot and stuffy on arrival, but soon cured by opening the windows. There were intermittent problems at night caused by the heavy duty door closers which make the doors slam loudly. There were also problems on the last morning of my stay as a very large group had descended upon the breakfast room early. That meant when I came down at 730am (needing to checkout at 8am) it had been stripped bare. No coffee or food for around 15 minutes as the small staff struggled to clean up and re-stock. I have used this hotel several times and this was a one-off, but such a problem could have been anticipated.Overall, I rate this hotel as good value for the price and location but on this visit only 7/10!

Great price, centrally located, 20 minute walk to the tourist center and/or hop on hop off bus station.
"6 NIGHTS IN LISBON"
7th March 2012
Just Mum and 17 year old son for 6 nights at IBIS Saldanya. Excellent price at €35 per night for twin-bedded room - BUT the beds are much narrower than normal single beds - possibly to fit two beds into space for a double. Only problem at night (and day) - loud sirens of ambulance /police. Excellent location - less than 10 minutes on bus to Rossio - and cheap using metro / bus top-up card. Our room cleaned every day. Pity we both had the flu!!

"Good Value for Money Hotel - not so close to metro"
15th January 2012, Zurich
But its only value for money and nothing else. I am a regular ibis traveller but this is the first time I saw something different in the standardization. The room was tinier than any other ibis, the room was having a door to another room which can be opened to make a single room. This was a turn-off for me though I could close it but there was something lacking in privacy. The wash basin used to get jammed with use but the cleaning staff had no clue of it in four times of cleaning. for a difference it had a bath tub but that made the bathroom more crammed, one side of the toilet seat is almost adjacent wall. This hotel is not of regular IBIS standard. The internet in the room for a whole day would sum upto the price of room , however, at reception its free and efficient. Its not very close to metro, but takes around 8 min.
"Lisbon break"
8th October 2011, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Clean and basic. The hotel is very busy. Within walking distance of the hop-on-hop off buses. Reception staff were great both in terms of giving general advice and arranging taxi's etc.. Breakfast met all needs and had some local additions. The 24 hour meal/bar service was a bonus.
"Poor Services"
7th October 2011, Accra, Ghana
The hotel provides good location and easy access to Lisbon. Staff are not polite and sometimes even rude. My room bedsheets were constantly not chaneged and the air conditioner does not cool enough the room. Rooms are very small. The hotel parking is open to public and not controlled by the hotel. I had my rental car scratched but the hotel holds no liability to the happenings at the parking lot. I would not return to this hotel unless no other option available.
"Ibis hotel in Lisboa"
9th June 2011, Jerusalem
Very good central location in a relatively quiet street. The usual and expected standard of Ibis hotels with small room but a larger than usual bathroom with bathtub.Very clean and no smoke smell like in other Ibis hotels.Nice breakfast room with a intimate atmosphere
"Great cost-benefice"
30th May 2011, Belo Horizonte
Great price, well located. It's exactly what you can expect from this kind of hotel. The only thing I didin't like was that the free wifi internet access was only in the lobby of the hotel. In the rooms, you have to pay to use the wifi.
"Why Ibis Saldanha?"
7th February 2011, London
My choice of Ibis Saldanha is mainly based in two points:- Convenient location;- Polite and considerate personnel. That's why I always choose Ibis Saldanha whenever I go to Lisbon on business.
