"Not a normal Ibis"

Avoid this hotel if you want a normal Ibis. This is second rate by any standards. The accommodation block is separate from the bar/reception area (which is shown in the picture) and is old, damp, dirty, smelly (smoke) and has poor heating (and no air conditioning). The rooms open direct onto an exposed walkway with the only window in the room facing the walkway giving the chance for everyone to look in or requiring the curtains to be permanently shut.The staff were very friendly and attentive but the accommodation block is not of a standard acceptable for Ibis.

"Good ibis"

An older US style Ibis hotel with bedrooms detached from the main reception. However, security is excellent with sound fencing, multiple cameras and good sight-lines.Rooms were very clean and fresh. Temp control was very good as were amenities and facilities. No real restaurant but a bar and chair/table seating area served 24 hours a day with ready meals - more than adequate.Breakfast is very good - full cooked or conti + as much as you can eat. great sausages.

"University visit"

21st February 2012

Used this on a visit to Univeristy of Warwick with son. Handy, good location and good price. The buffet breakfast was good value, half price at £3.50 per head as it was booked on-line. I would stay here again. Directions to the hotel when on the final approaches could be better. I had to ask at the nearby Jaguar car plant how to find it.

"Freezing Cold Dirty Rooms"

The room has a very noisy fan heater that probably couldn't heat a broom cupboard, carpets, seating stained, general walkways not clean or tidy, terrible nights sleep!!!Please note I stay in hotels regularly and have never felt the need to write a review before but on this hotel felt compelled to do so.Why there is not adequate heating for the room is beyond me - the only good thing is that I wasn't staying there with my family (two young children).

"great value"

This was our second visit to this hotel. Again we had a clean, comfy bedroom. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and nicely presented. The staff could not have been more helpful, and we would happily recommend this hotel.

Staff is very polite. If you are looking for the basics than this is a very nice hotel. There are some areas where improvement could be achieved. The menu of the restaurant is rather appealing, even the basic steak for business travelers that don't want to spend to much time on food maters is nowhere to be found. The internet is paying which is not really acceptable today where internet is free everywhere. Especially if you stay for several days and want to keep up on emails an business matters, this becomes a very expensive hotel.Rooms are neath and clean, bed was probably one of the best I've ever had in a hotel.

A little difficult to find unless you do you research before hand. Nice quiet location in a busy area. Ample green areas around for dog walking. Chalet type accommodation which was idea for our dog. Quite a few dogs there that nice but you would never know it. Comfortable clean room , good shower, compact bath. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was well presented and good value. Evening meal was quite acceptable. Staff were excellent as well. They were very friendly and most helpful. It did appear that one girl was doing every task but you would never know as she was very professional and most efficient. Would definitly stay here again without a doubt.

"Budget hotels"

If this had been my first stay in an Ibis hotel it would have been my last. The accommodation is chalet style and not your normal UK hotel and not what I expected from my previous experience of Ibis quality. It needs refurbishing. The receptionist, Saiful, was fantastic - he couldn't be more helpful. It is well placed for visiting the area south of Birmingham with easy access to good roads.

Yes we are similar to a chalet style, and we are similar to marmite, you will either love or or hate us. I am pleased that we do have a lot of regular guest that love us, the hotel is set in a quiet location surrounded by trees. I was pleased that saiful looked after you, we have a good team here and we do value what our guest feel ablout us.I cant change the layout , but what i can ensure is we offer value for money, with a team that want to deliver a great service. "OK if you can find it"

Staff friendly and food good. Room dark and needs updating. Sat Nav takes you to wrong place and the hotel is not the easiest to find. Hidden away, no signs and situated off one of the most difficult roundabouts I have come across. Have stayed there a number of times now but only because it is close to Warwick University. Pity as all other Ibis hotels have been good.I have recommended hotel to friends but only because we all wanted to stay close to where we were going next day.

The council have closed the bridge at the end of Abbey roads, this is why we try and re direct instructions asking guest to follow the Jaguar Engineering and Whiltley. "Good value"

Motel style accommodation.Very clean,great value at 35.00.You will need a car.The hotel is secluded,Recommend a trip to Wellesbourne airfield,with an excellent cafe and you can watch light aircraft come and go.

The hotel is in a Nice village of Whitley, that gives the impression of seclusion, but we are only 5 minutes from the city center and a 5 Minute walk to the Bus station, which has a very good bus service into the town center. "very Happy"

we travel with our dogs and we always find this very good at the Ibis as they are dog friendly and do not charge for them, the beds are comfortable ,and the restaurant and bar are a good extra so we don't have to go far to eat

"Not to the usual standard"

This Ibis hotel (or more correct motel) falls short of the usual Ibis standard. Insufficent staff to provide a quality service, general cleanliness in the check-in and dining areas, WiFi broke down, ran out of Grolsch, poor breakfast even ran out of butter and croissants on one morning. Could do better. Location not great.
