The second time I have stayed at this hotel, and the second time I have ended up in a 1st floor room overlooking the street where the double glazed window doesn't fit in the frame correctly such that you got to hear everything in the street below

Very convenient for railway station and two good quality restaurants next door. The only issue I had was the room was very hot (even in March) and the air conditioning did not cool the room at all. As a last resort, I had to have the window open and suffer the noise of passing traffic and people, which made sleeping difficult.

I was very happy with my stay here. The room were simple, as expected for the low price. It was clean and had free wifi. It did not have a hair-dryer or tea making facilities in the room -although these may have been available on request. I would recommend this hotel as a good value budget hotel.

"Unusually poor . . ."

Very disappointing stay in this IBIS hotel. I would venture as far as to say the worst Accor Hotel I have ever stayed in during the last 15 years.No restaurant (but that's not a big problem in Charleroi) but the (only?) member of staff was not even prepared to serve me a "bar snack" as advertised in the rooms and bar area. When I returned from a freezing cold walk to a (rather good) italian restaurant around the corner, he was unable to provide me with anything other than a warm bottle of water.Redeeming features? Very close to the station and the night porter was helpful and charming when I was checking out at 0600.The hotel is self feels dark and slightly oppressive and Accor need to spend some money on it.

A very handy budget hotel close to the Gare and what Charleroi has to offer. Suited our needs for a three day stay.
