Ibis has the best value for money. The location in Brisbane CBD is perfect. The rooms are quiet and spacious. This is my favourite hotel when I have to stay in Brisbane.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "One Night Brisbane Getaway"

10th May 2012, obylou, Caloundra, Australia

We arrived just after lunch, we went to our room and to our surprise there was a bottle of champagne. We had rung prior to arrival to find out about parking and we also mentioned it was our 10 year wedding anniversary. We also got a great room....... The hotel is in easy walking distance to the mall, casino and south-bank. Didn't end up eating there as we found a new Mexican place called Guzman Y Gomaz which was fantastic. The foyer isn't huge but nice and clean and inviting, staff were very friendly.Room wasnt huge but had everything you needed and was very modern. This hotel comes highly recommended, thanks for the warm hospitality. Cheers,Mark and Lou :)

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good rooms, good service."

2nd May 2012, Kazza67_12, Yeppoon, Australia

I stay at this Hotel regularly and it is always clean and has good service. Meals in restauraunt are good. The only downside is I think it is a bit overpriced as are all the big Hotels in Brisbane city. It is the cheapest of them tho.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great stay"

25th April 2012, RoelieJ, Brisbane

My recent stay at this hotel was most pleasant. On arrival at 12:30am, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a very helpful receptionist. All staff that I encountered were cheery and very helpful. The food at dinner time was tasty and well priced. Great location for shopping, art gallery, museum, walks and inner city life.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Stay here if you are unable to get a room at the Mercure or one of the Oaks Hotels"

25th April 2012, FrangipaniQueen, Far North Qld

The IBIS Hotel is good value for money. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and was in (relatively) close location from the city centre - 3 blocks. Negatives - no car park so you will have to park at the Mercure Hotel and walk to the IBIS Hotel - at a cost of $27 per day for parking. The beds were hard, and the pillows were also firm. Overall, the room was ok and good if you are only spending a day or two in the city or if you like hard beds. If you want a bit of comfort, go to the Mercure or stay in one of the Oaks apartments - simply wonderful!

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Our Stay in Brisbane"

24th April 2012, The-best-vacations, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

This was a very good hotel and the staff was very friendly. We would stay here again, it is central and close to the mall where there is a really good information stand. All in all, we enjoyed it very much.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great location, great staff, good hotel"

22nd April 2012, RJAD07, Sydney, Australia

If you want to be smack bang in the centre of town then this hotel is perfect for you. There are a few suggestions I would give, first of all considering I'm paying around $100 a night, can I least get free wi fi? No draws in the bathroom even though theres space for them, there really should be a microwave for many reasons, breakfast should not cost $20 even if it is 'all you can eat' hence why I don't buy it, and there really should be power sources for laptops available. Other than that I can honestly say its a great hotel I was super comfortable, the room was nice & clean and theres at least a fridge!

ibis Brisbane: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Weekend relaxation"

20th April 2012, Brian C, Brisbane, Australia

Thanks to the RSL and Accor Hotels for the chance to enjoy this weekend on Brisbane. The staff, service and food were all great.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant stay"

9th April 2012, Moss Vale

We stayed at this hotel on a special rate (three nights for the price of two) so the value was good for us. The hotel is handy to the city and to transport links. The service was good and the rooms are quite spacious.A most enjoyable stay.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great location and value for money"

27th March 2012, canberra_no_mad_1, Canberra

I have stayed at this property a few times and at a number of different Ibis properties around Australia & NZ. This one is one of the best Ibis properties I have encountered in Australia, its size and presentation more like those in NZ. The location is excellent, an easy walk to Roma St Station, very close to the Brisbane River, and a level stroll to the city centre. The room was big for an Ibis, 3-4 times the size of my last Ibis room in Perth. I need a quiet room to get a good night's sleep and it was very quiet despite being above a busy street, due to good window design. Through the window I had a small glimpse of the River, which was fine for me. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, noticeably so. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows (there were plenty of them). It did not matter to me that the room was not stocked with minibar items - they are availbale easily in-house from a vending machine and (even better) there are several small convenience stores (with good prices) very close by, and plenty of choice for eateries within an easy and level walk. I found the price to be very good relative to other options in Brisbane at the time, and represented quite a strong saving compared with its Accor sibling next door (Mercure). I will stay at this property again, for sure.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "excellent value"

22nd March 2012, Perth, Australia

an ideally situated hotel near Roma St station , the river and the centre of town. A no frills but excellent value hotel with large spacious room and bathroom with clean facilities and a comfortable bed The staff were helpful and friendly check in and check out were speedy and fuss free. This hotel comes highly recommended and we will stay there again on our next visit to Brisbane.

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Brisbane"

22nd March 2012, Wollongong, Australia

Great service. Room adequate and clean. Located near the river part of the city. Short walk to city mall and south bank. 5 mins walk to Roma St Station. Liked: Good value for money.Didn't like: No ventilation/fan in bathroom

ibis Brisbane: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Brisbane"

18th March 2012, Brisbane, Australia

Excellent location. 5 min walk from Roma Street Station. One way airport train ticket in AUD 15. So if you are 2 or more persons going to or coming from airport, taxi could be more convenient and not so costly. Rooms are spacious. But no fridge so no cold water. The carpets need "industrial grade cleaning"- lot of stains. I had to change my travel plan and had to check out earlier but the hotel did not give me the refund on room rent(probably was non refundable rate) but refund on unused meals would have been appreciated. Will not stay there again with family unless they clean the carpets. Do not use internet on the hotel Kiosks - slower than my mobile. Had to use it to change my flight tickets - frustratingly slow. No car park in hotel. Pay AUD 25 per day and park in Mercure Hotel Public Car park. Will be lucky to find a spot there. I ended up returning my rented car for this reason and traveled in taxi.

ibis Brisbane: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Brisbane"

ibis Brisbane: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Enjoyable BREAK with daughter & grandchildren"

14th March 2012, Peregian Beach, Australia

1. Our door would not lock properly - we came home 1st day after being out, my grand daughter leant against the door and it just swung open, I had left valuables in ourroom - so I was very apprehensive that something may have been stolen, it was not.Understandably we then checked door every time we came & went. I advised staff onour departure.2. Very disappointed that breakfasts served on a mezzanine level, as I am disabled. We later foud out that you had a lift, but it didn't help me as it was out of order!!!!!!!

Management responseThank you kindly for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Ibis Brisbane.I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed your break in Brisbane with your daughter and grandchildren, as Brisbane is a lovely city and Ibis Brisbane is perfectly located to enjoy all of the sights.I am sorry to hear that on your first day the door in your room did not close fully. I understand that the problem was fixed as soon as it was brought to our attention. We do make a conscious effort to have the doors close at a pace that will have them lock without slamming with a large bang. I am sorry to hear that your door closed slightly too slowly in order to ensure that it had locked.Thank you again for your feedback regarding your recent stay and I hope that we can welcome you back to the hotel in the near future.Sincerely,Glen EricksonHotel Manager

ibis Brisbane: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Visiting daughter"

11th March 2012, Cairns, Australia

The Ibis Brisbane proved to be very conveniently located both for the city centre and for heading out to the suburbs and beyond. The main drawback was the difficulty and scarcity of parking spots (these are shared with the Mecure round the corner and managed by a private parking firm), although the hotel discount for parking is really very good. The Ibis staff were generally very good to excellent, and they certainly managed to stay calm and friendly even when the foyer became extremely busy (e.g. the hotel accommodates large numbers of airline staff). Our room on the 14th floor was excellent with superb views of the city and Southbank.

ibis Brisbane: 5.0 out of 5 stars "1st Class Service"

5th March 2012, Monegeetta, Canberra

My wife & I stayed here for one night before taking a Cruise on the Sun Princess, we found the Ibis to be in a great location. It is a ten minute walk from the Roma Street Train station and ten minutes to the City Cat terminal so it was very easy to get around. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we dined in the restruant on Level 1. The young lady in the dining room was rushed off her feet but she kept smiling and always had plenty of time for her customers. The food was great, not over priced either, it cost us $65.50 for mains & desert & a drink for me. That was for both of us so not bad value in the centre of town. This was our first trip to Brisbane and we will be staying at the Ibis on our next trip that's for sure.

ibis Brisbane: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Hotel Ibis Brisbane review"

2nd March 2012, Gladstone, Australia

The stay at Hotel Ibis in Brisbane was my second at the Hotel Ibis in Brisbane. I enjoyed the stay again, room was nice and clean, checking in/out was easy and all of the staff members I spoke with were very courteous and nice. The complementary lollies didn't hurt my feelings either ;)

ibis Brisbane: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Quick stayover"

26th February 2012, Melbourne, Australia

The hotel is a little hard to get to with no on-site parking (1 15 minute space). Overnight parking is at the Mercure around the corner walking but a bit of a trip by care due to Brisbane's unfriendly road system. The room was OK size wise and the bed was fine. Other amenities were basic with a mini TV and no bar fridge (there was a fridge although not stocked.Staff were very friendly and efficient. For the price I'd probably stay again.

ibis Brisbane: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Not a bad hotel"

23rd February 2012, Sydney, Australia

The interior facilities of this hotel are honestly average to my standard. However, it is a good value accommodation given its location. Recommended if you have a budget to stick to and don't mind the basic facilities inside the room.

ibis Brisbane: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant interlude"

This hotel as ideal for our short stay, with close proximity to Southbank and the CBD.We were meeting our cruise ship on the Sunday at 2.00 and were generously given a late checkout, well done Accor!!
